Great 556 hk clone. Shoots great and looks good too.

This was an excellent rifle. Very tame recoil, lightweight for what it was, and very ergonomic. The only downside was that magazines were expensive.

I'm glad I got one of these before they were gone. Super fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate. CIA usually gets mixed reviews but my three CIA rifles have been flawless and of pretty good quality. If your an HK fan boy/girl and you run into one of these clones you need to grab it. It's well worth the money!

Great rifle! I found that Bud's had the best price on these HK93 clone rifles and bought one as the real HK rifles are $2800+ on auction websites. Bud's has super fast shipping and it arrived just 3 days after ordering. Century Arms did a great job building this out of real HK parts and it is a smooth shooter. Real HK magazines are expensive ($70 each) but ProMag makes an aftermarket 20, 30, and 40 round magazine for around $15. Overall, great gun and value if you're looking for a different kind of "black rifle" to add to your collection.

First of all, Great Service from Buds. The rifle arrived on time and in great shape. I inspected it before taking ownership of it and everything checked out. Had been looking for this rifle for about 2 years & with Buds lay-a-way plan it worked out for me. Have not took it to the range yet, been busy, but will comment once I get a chance to shoot it.

Rifle arrived in great condition. It took me awhile to get to the range in order to test the rifle. When I did I have to say the rifle worked great. Unlike my AR this rifle will function with steel cased ammo as well. The magazines are pretty expensive but the rifle is worth it.

Got my C93 and couldnt be happier! Comes with 1 40 round mag, but at J&G Sales you can get more. If you want an HK 93 but cant afford to pay thousands for it buy this rifle, you wont regret it!!!

First Off I'd like to say I'm very happy with my C93 Sporter it was a very good purchase and I'm gonna really enjoy shooting it at the Range. I think it's really cool that Century Arms made this rifle the closest to HK specs they could and honestly for an affordable price. The 40 round Steel mag that came with it is cool although it wiggles a bit but I'm sure that can be fixed and I know those mags aren't cheap but I seen that Promag makes polymer 30 and 40 round mags that are around $25. I think Century Should add a Paddle Mag release to the C93 and blue the barrel instead of a Gray barrel. That's about it as far as Improvements I'd like to see with this Rifle. I'd like to hear other people's opinions on this rifle and what they think about it and what they should change or improve on it.

Ordered this rifle on Sunday and had it in my hands on Wednesday. Crazy fast service and delivery. Rifle was very clean and looked good. Mag was very worn and sratched up. I took it out to the range and put 40 rounds of brass and 40 rounds of steel with no problems at all. It would eject the shells 15 to 20 feet out of the chamber. Very impressed with this rifle.

I sold my HK93 this August and have been watching this Century C93 for some time. When the price dropped from $690 to $653 I purchased the C93. The stock fits tight, not like the HK and all parts look new, as receiver and trigger unit are. The 40 rd mag is great and 20 and 30 rd Promags work well. I fired 400 rds of wolf without a failure with very good accuracy. This C93 was $683 last week. A good buy also for $762.

I ordered 2 of these and I think it is an excellent buy. the magazine well is tighter than the hk rifles. the action and the safety needs to be broken in to get smooth the us made grip feels cheap compared to the original but that is an easy fix. Get these before the election while available I found extra magazines for $50 for the 40 round aluminium ones.

People have hit or miss experiences with these builds. Mine came with very tight tolerances and reliable ping steel at 300 yards. Pretty nice for a grab bag 556! Shipped super quick from Buds, best purchase of the last couple years.

Service from Buds was great. This is a good firearm. I've read the reviews where people are complaining about the gun FTE FTF. I experienced the same problems running the tried and true PMC 223. I was pretty disgusted. Loaded her up with some hot .556 and completely different story. Just give the gun a chance to break in. The more .556 I run through it, the better it feeds the .223. It's not perfect yet, but it will be.

Got my gun from my ffl. Function checked it and everything looked good. Took the weapon to the range. FTF and FTE after 2 rounds. I used lake city 556, american eagle 556, and federal 223 brass which all jammed up bad. All the shell casings were peeled or crushed. I took it home and did complete cleaning and it was so dirty. Took it back and round 2 FTF and FTE. Now rounds were being pinched and jammed and would not cycle properly. I have to send the gun back and the process is long and misserable. Very little help from century. Would not recomend this guns parts that are surplus inside look like 10000 plus rounds have gone thru them. Bad machining work too.

Skeptical, to say the least after reading the reviews. Couldn't pass it up for 600 BUCKS! I'm extremely glad I didn't, bowling pins are no problem at a hundred yards with open sights Approx. 150 rounds steel, nato ball, reloads without one hiccup would have shot more but it was 15 degrees and my fingers couldn't take it. Very pleasant rifle to shoot , slight muzzle rise and no recoil. One small complaint trigger pack looks and feels cheap, trigger pull was fine for a military type rifle and safety seemed to function properly. Overall very pleased with this rifle.

I can't comment on the first two reviewers on this, I got my C93 back in August 21, 2104 after being in Bud's layaway program ,their service was seamless and trouble free, this c93 has run great with steel and brass, this is my second Bud's purchase and I will be a return customer.

good looking firearm but after only 4 shots I now have to deal with seeding it back to century arms. the reason is that all 4 rounds had failure to eject and the casings are all destroyed. now this was my first order from Buds but there not the ones who built it so I cant say anything bad about them and I will order from them again. I was hopping after years of bad reviews they would have started building the c93 better, but I guess not.

I picked up my C93 from my FFL last week. I did a complete safety check and inspection on the weapon before accepting it. And I was very happy with the way it looked and handled. I took it home and field stripped it and cleaned it. There was quite a bit of oil that had to be wiped off. The 40rd mag that it came with fit snug but I had a 30rd steel mag, purchased from another site, that didn't fit so well. I loaded each mag with 25rds and went to the range for the first time. I used the 30rd mag first. I fired one round and had a failure to feed. I charged the rifle, again failure to feed. I fired a total of 5 rounds with with another FTF and a failure to extract. Now I'm not happy. Went to the 40rd mag. Fired one round and had a FTF, charged the rifle and ran thru the rest of the mag with no problem. Reloaded the 40rd mag with 25rds. Fired a few more rounds with both FTF and FTE. Also several of the cases were deformed after firing. I tried the 30rd mag again but had FTF. It fired one more round then the rifle jammed completely and I was unable to charge the handle. I had to field strip the rifle to clear the weapon. Now I'm done. I always bring extra weapons to the range so it wasn't a wasted trip. So now I'm in the process of sending the C93 to Century Arms for repair. I understand that these things happen and I'm sure I will like this weapon once it has been repaired properly.

After receiving my C93 from my FFL dealer, I cleaned the rifle well. Some of the parts had a heavy grease which was removed. Putting the bolt head back on was a little tricky but I managed. I was very impressed with the build quality and the parts were in excellent shape. A trip to the range and a hundred and fifty rounds through the C93 without any failure or issue of any kind. The rifle appears to be quite accurate to boot. Could not be happier with this rifle!

Picked this up from the FFL a few weeks back...gave it a quick wipe down and headed out to the range. Initial performance was not that great...had 5 FTE out of two full mags. I noticed the casing had thick cosmoline on them. Took the rifle home and fully stripped the rifle, right down to the locking rollers. After thoroughly cleaning the rifle (which was caked with thick grease) and lubing it back up, headed back to the range. This sucker ran flawless, no failures what so ever. Love this rifle.

As always, the transaction with Bud's was great with fast shipping. The C93 is a nice rifle. So far no problems loading or ejecting. Overall fit and finish was good. Keep in mind this is a used firearm with some new components. I bought this to shoot not look at and it shoots great. Mine did not come with a bayonet as others have indicated they received. One of the two supplied magazines was pretty banged up on the bottom but seems to load fine. I bought two Pro Mag magazines, model # HEC-A9 (http://www.promagindustries.com/product-p/hec-a9.htm) that work great in this rifle. My local FFL, Vic, was outstanding as usual. Very fair pricing and a friendly guy who is a shooters friend.

Got the CIA C93 12 months ago.(for got to post this sooner) Packaging: good box with plenty of padding. the two mags were both wrapped in paper. The knife was property secured and lubed to avoid rust. The action had minor collection of dust which adhered to the lube. I could have put the box in long term storage without having to worry about applying any protective coating of lubricants. Took it to the range, for a basic function check. Initially it had some FTE but this was just a matter of getting the parts worn in. Recoil is very mild. Stripped it and subjected it to a throughout cleaning and lubrication. Nothing stood out as being wrong....just not worn in yet. Took it back out to the range. It would go through 2-3 rounds before FTE. Next mag it was 6-7 rounds before FTE. How to speed up the breaking in period? I borrowed a registered select fire pack from one of the guys. slammed that puppy in there and rock and rolled. Went through 120 rounds in fullauto, it ran smooth as butter. Probably the quickest, most fun way to break in the rifle, seeing it has a FA bolt. After that, regardless of trigger-pack, it has been running without issue. I think I am going to order another one while saving up for a registered triggerpack. It is easy to control in FA, the steel sites work well. I shot both brass and steel ammo without any issues. I love the rollerback action and for $494.00 (on 6/11) it was a great buy, and addition to the HK style firearms collection.
