Fatal flaw after just 33 shells!! Complete bolt failure. Locked up tight as a ship in the frozen seas.
Buds was great as far as shipping. This is not their fault obviously. I would still buy from them.
This gun however.....in retrospect I should have bought American. I put 33 rounds through it after arriving from FFL dealer. I\'m Law Enforcement and live around various weapons. This was not a mechanical hiccup or user malfunction. The bolt jammed and would not meet receiver. Worse, the bolt became immovable. Neither moves forward nor backward. Again, only 33 shots of 2 3/4 shells! Just froze. No amount of oil will break it free.
Now I likely gotta go through the entire BS process of shipping to an ESCORT dealer; paying shipping at my expense; a possible repair (I hope not if the company has any sort of warranty or personal integrity); and the frustration of not having a shotgun for God knows how long.
I\'m glad for the guys who got good ones. Seems like a great many people have well functioning Escorts. This gun shot 33 rounds, gloriously. Smooth, accurate, and fit like a glove. I like the gun. I would love to have it run and cycle well for 20 years. But alas, not much over 20 minutes. I knew it was budget, but the reviews were positive. I gambled, and I lost. Don\'t be me.
My fault for trusting in off brand long arms.
My best advice.... get another brand gun. After shipping and other possible costs I will end up having paid for a Mossberg 930.
Yeah, I\'m steaming, but I am mad at myself for buying a budget gun call HATSAN/Escort.
Bud\'s, I guess if the reviews are positive, then sell them. But if you get more like mine, seriously think about removing them from your inventory. This type of story multiplied by many would not be good.
Folks, don\'t buy it or you may end up like I did. Feels terrible.
