For those of us with a background in the Army, the Colt LE6920 will be very familiar. The weapon arrived at my FFL with no damage to the cardboard box. I inspected the weapon before leaving the FFL's place. One thing I noticed is that there was no damage, the fit and finish is flawless and I could not ask for more.
The weapon has a LE (Law Enforcement) serial number and is roll marked M$ Carbine.
Once I got home, I cleaned the weapon. It had a slightly sticky/oily coating, inside and outside, I presume was to protect it.
I had only seen this type of weapon in the Army,, and most of those weapons has a lot of use. The parts on the LE6920 are snugger than the one I have seen in the Army. It function checked fine.
For those without experience with this sort of weapon, I suggest you learn some of the basics. There are several sources available online, such as on YouTube.
People say the LE6920 is the benchmark for all other M4 Carbines. I had no problem paying more than other ARs, since MIL SPEC means parts and assessories will fit, and I appreciate the level of testing Colt does on each part.
I highly recommend the Colt LE6920 (M4 Carbine).
