I know there are other nice AR15's available, good quality firearms and lower price points, but I believe you get more than just the Colt name for the extra money this gun costs. The manufacturing quality is first rate. The upper and lower have a very tight fit and the action is smooth and crisp. The finish on all of the gun's parts was a deep consistant black parkerized. Of course, what's most important is how the gun fired. After a quick wipe down to remove any excess oil/grease and debris (of which there was hardly any), I took her out and put 100 rounds down range with the stock sights it came with (fixed A2 Front and Magpul MBUS flip-up polymer rear). No adjustments were needed, dead on zero right out of the box and sub-1 MOA groupings out to 100 yards (with decent but not high-end ammo)! After replacing the forearm with a quad rail that sat at the same height as the upper's picatinny rail section, I added an Eotech 512 Holographic red dot sight (FYI, the 512 won't fit on the weapon as supplied with stock forearm). When I zero'ed in the Eotech, I was happily supprised to see that the iron sights co-witnessed with the red dot sight perfectly! Can't say enough about this firearm. Very happy camper here.

WOW!!!!! She was pretty much zeroed right out of the box! Put 180 rounds through her our first time out and she ate them up and spit them out! No malfunctions what so ever! What an awesome rifle! If you are in the market for an AR platform rifle, Colt is the way to go!

For those of us with a background in the Army, the Colt LE6920 will be very familiar. The weapon arrived at my FFL with no damage to the cardboard box. I inspected the weapon before leaving the FFL's place. One thing I noticed is that there was no damage, the fit and finish is flawless and I could not ask for more. The weapon has a LE (Law Enforcement) serial number and is roll marked M$ Carbine. Once I got home, I cleaned the weapon. It had a slightly sticky/oily coating, inside and outside, I presume was to protect it. I had only seen this type of weapon in the Army,, and most of those weapons has a lot of use. The parts on the LE6920 are snugger than the one I have seen in the Army. It function checked fine. For those without experience with this sort of weapon, I suggest you learn some of the basics. There are several sources available online, such as on YouTube. People say the LE6920 is the benchmark for all other M4 Carbines. I had no problem paying more than other ARs, since MIL SPEC means parts and assessories will fit, and I appreciate the level of testing Colt does on each part. I highly recommend the Colt LE6920 (M4 Carbine).

Fully satisfied with the purchase from Bud's. A little disappointed I had to join the Member club to purchase, but it was worth it in the long run. The rifle, out of the box, is a little messy - a lot of oil and some kind of tacky substance on the bolt and bolt carrier. I had to give a good cleaning before taking it out to the range. I shot 200 rounds of Remington .223 and no malfunctions. It was actually zero'd pretty well from the start. I might recommend purchasing the Colt M4 that comes with the Magpul accessories - if it's available. The stock pistol grip is terrible so I upgraded to Magpul MOE handgrip which is a great upgrade.

This is just ridiculous! I ordered the rifle on Tuesday and I shot 300 rounds flawlessly on Saturday (would have had on Friday but for the pesky one day waiting period)! Could not be happier with Buds shipping and prices. I could have bought a Bushmaster at Gander Mountain for about the same price.LOL Thanks buds. Will be ordering AK47 soon so my son can have something to shoot along with our 91/30 also from buds!
