Very happy with this Shotgun. Like others I found the gun in a rough unfinished state. Cleaned all the cosmoline off of it and got out the mill bastard file, and Dremel with polishing pads and compound. After about 30 minutes of polishing the break open points this gun opens and closes perfect. It shoots great and is a great edition to my Old West collection. Great for the price.

Gun is awesome but packaging was horrible with the foam and oil got all over the new gun

This shotgun is definitely decent for the money, comes with quality wood, yet a hammer screw did come loose on me as well as a few spurs on the steel that could have been finished better (grinded off). This thing operated flawlessly I even tried some magnum 3\" shells in it, its surprisingly smooth on the 2 3/4 shells with both triggers and the butt pad is a quality shock absorber. While I\'m not impressed that it says made in china all huge on both barrels, it operates great. Needs a lot to work the action into being able to move smooth super tight had to open it over my knee a few times like I was breaking a stick. Got a lot smoother with a hundred rounds through it, but not perfect. Had a buddy that worked at big 5 tell me these were the ones they always have on sale for under $200 when they are on sale (he remembered hand writing the ZZ town). May be a Norinco from some of the research I did. Could use some refinishing but super nice for the price.

A new gun designed just like the old counterparts. Tight design

This gun is awesome for $300! The only negative thing I can say about is that the spent shells have to be removed by hand but other then that it's a well built gun for the price.
