Great gun for the money I have had no issues with mine, much preferred to a 10/22 ruger!

I Got a Mossberg 715t and I took it home cleaned it and went to the range with it and it function flawlessly. Then I made the mistake of buying Aquila cheap Mexican .22 LR quiet bullets and yes they where quiet but not hot enough to push the action all the way back and shells weren't ejecting all the way and it kept on jamming. So I had a box of Winchester .22 LR and tried those and it worked perfectly again. PS people at the range thought it was an AR 15. They don't allow rapid fire there, but I am sure if I was allowed I could have shot just as fast as I pulled the trigger with the hotter Winchester ammo. rear sights really easy to adjust vertical and horizontal. I put a compensator on it and it doesn't kick at all when I fire it almost like a BB gun I love it and recommend it and now even cheaper than when I purchased it.

Mossberg 22LR Model 715T....5 Stars Buds' Gun Warehouse......5 Stars. Picked-up the Mossberg 715T, 22LR at the Gun Warehouse yesterday and went straight to the Bud's Range. I brought with me Remington 36gr Golden Bullet Brass-plated hollow points, and Federal 40gr AutoMatch bullets. With only one provided magazine and U-loader tool, it took a while to get in the reloading groove, unlike several other commentors, I was able to get 25 rounds in each loading cycle. I fired 100 rounds downrange with no hiccups. Everything cycled fine. The battle sights were close enough right out of the box and I was able to offhand shoot groups within the 3" bulls-eye of the Birchwood Casey Shoot N-C adhesive targets. All in all, it was a fine experience and I had a blast shooting it - I just wish I had more magazines. I took it home to clean it and I found out through You Tube videos that the takedown is rather involved....so I have elected to lock the bolt in the rear position, use some zip ties, Velcro and rope to hold it there and proceed to clean the chamber, bore and magazine as well as I can with Rem Oil and patches and paper-towels, nylon brush and plastic pick cleaning tool. I'll know next time I shoot it whether that is good enough. I did ask about extra magazines at the counter. Buds has none in stock. They said best to look online. I did last night and I was able to find some IN STOCK at Bass Proshop so I ordered some...I looked just now, and they are on Back Order so I hope I got in under the wire. Hey most of the rifle is not metal, it is high tech resin....I do know that I had a blast firing it and it went BANG each time I pulled the trigger. I am looking for more fun with it. As always, Bud's folks were right on top of their game. I ordered it Monday; it was ready for pickup Wednesday at the store. Order and order status info came straight to my email and they were ready for me when I arrived Thursday. Keep up the good work.

This rifle is fun, it processed everything i fed it without a hitch, and Buds shipping is the best. Now don't think you're getting an AR with a 22lr mag and bolt, you're getting a Mossberg Plinkster dressed up in plastic to look like an AR. So what? It's a riot to shoot, especially dumping the entire mag rapid fire. The sights are plastic but adjustable, and in no time we were busting milk jugs at 80 yards. Went through about 500 rounds and the only snag was when my son started getting FTE and stovepiped rounds - til i realized he was resting the mag on the shooting table. Don't do that and it worked like a charm. The hard plastic rail should hold optics if you're inclined. If shooting open sights, i'd remove the carry-handle rail. Note: field stripping is a real pain, you have to take all the plastic parts off the action. Buy a bore snake and save yourself hours of disassembling / reassembling the plastic stock pieces. All in all, a great fun little rifle that looks actually rather nice, runs great, and hardly costs anything. Plus you might even be able to find some ammo for it, unlike it's 5.56 cousins.

Received the gun a few days ago. Just took it out over the weekend. This gun is great fun to shoot! Didn't run great ammo through it. Out of 300rds, only had a few that failed to eject. Took it to an outdoor range, and my wife and 8 year old son loved it! My eyesight is not that great, so the fixed sights didn't work out for me. So I purchased a red/green dot scope, and that made a world of difference. My FFL was amazed at Bud's price for this gun. Great gun, fast shipping, another satisfied customer! This is my 3rd gun from Buds, and I don't think it will be the last!

Can't beat the price for the gun. Buds handled the transaction smoothly as always. When I got the gun I broke it down and cleaned it out. Lots of think grease inside it as expected to keep the gun new until you get it. I cleaned it and oiled it up. I also cleaned the magazine a bit since it was kind of stiff. After loading and unloading the magazine a few times It fits 26 rounds without a problem and shoots without a problem. I had one jam while the magazine was still stiff. Everything works well and the gun is a lot of fun to shoot. This fits all AR accessories so there is plenty you can do to customize the experience. Only downsides are that the sights are tough to zero. Magazines and ammo are kind of tough to find but that's just because the market that we are in. As with all guns, shoot decent ammo or expect a few fail to fire, misfire or fail to eject.
