Purchased the gun as a xmas gift for my son so I have not fired the gun yet. I will say that after opening the box it looked a lot cheaper than I would have hoped. After I handled the gun for a few minutes I was even a little more bummed. Alomost all plastic and quite chincy. But...with that said I didn't expect a high dollar AR either. I'm sure my 15 year old will love running the rounds through it. Hopefully if fires reliably!! Only came with one Mag which was a dissapointment. I'm not sure why these things don't come with two mags! Anyway...I look forward to shooting it. Hopefully all goes well.

Just ordered it this past Friday, got it today (Wednesday). Awesome gun, very cool looking 22 rifle. I put about 50 rounds through it as soon as I took it out of the box. Shot flawlessly.

Amazing gun!! Took it apart and cleaned it like suggested. Grease up all moveable parts before shooting. Just got back from shooting over 500 rounds through it with no issues at all! I look forward to getting a second one. Cannot beat the price or Buds service. Very happy with this purchase.

i ordered this gun right about a year ago. the price was very good and its got plenty of room to upgrade it and add accessories. tons of rail space. a good feeling and firing gun. a lot of people try to talk crap about this gun and say it misfeeds and has a lot of failure to fires. but HELLO ITS A .22!!! its the ammo not the gun. if you keep this gun clean it will shoot just about whatever you put through it. the only ammo that it has significantly more failures is subsonics. but as i have experienced subsonics are always quite the unreliable round. truly the gun is a 5 out of 5 and is truly a GREAT BUY. the single downside to the weapon is that the 25 round magazine is crazy expensive and somewhat hard to find. (& only comes with one) for me and ALL of my gun-owning friends with any assault type mid-range rifle no matter the caliber YOU NEED AT LEAST 3 MAGAZINES! the magazines are at average 35$ each and some times that price is BEFORE shipping. if you find a good deal on them ($20 or less) get 2-3 of them you wont regret it. oh and finally... the other complaint Ive seen a lot about these guns is that the magazines are hard to load after about 9-11 rounds. thats any high cap mag. and this particular one is a dual spring model. the first day you get the gun load up the magazine and put it away for a few days weeks months whatever. lower the spring tension a bit and they work fine, if you still have a problem loading the last few rounds.... just put your finger over the last bullet that actually fed into the mag and tap it 3 times (not even very hard) until you feel/hear the spring bounce and continue loading. i load mine up to full capacity every time with this method and it takes 1 minute each mag. if you want a gun that doesn't have any of these easy to deal with quarks buy the Colt or S&W version and pay 3 times as much money. by the way the deciding factor in purchasing this gun for me was the price... i know that sounds like i'm a cheap-skate but think about it. if you're going to pay $700-$800 on a colt or s&w tactical 22. why not just buy a true AR in .223/5.56. DPMS offers a few options in that range and they're not the only company. if you want a gun to practice with or plink with because the ammo is dirt cheap ($21 for 550 rounds at local walmart) theres no need for all the fancy crap that comes on the center-fire version. a 22 doesn't need all that garbage. bottom line: get this gun, a cheap red-dot scope and an fore-grip you have a weapon that anybody will love to shoot and be impressed with and you'll still have spent hundreds less than ANY of this guns competitors. i wish i could rate this gun 6 stars. keep it clean and it wont fail any more than any other 22.
