I give the gun 4 stars only for a few reasons: Out of the box, the sights required adjusting. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if they were lined up before leaving the factory. 30 minutes at the range and about 8 shots to fix the problem. The trigger pull on the P250 is long. Unless you're used to shooting a true double action, the average shooter will have a tendency to pull toward the side of your trigger hand. Again, not a big deal, but the action is VERY long and you have to compensate for it by having a firm grip and a crisp trigger pull. The only other detraction I have is that the gun comes from the factory bone ass dry and needs a little gun oil on the slide to break in. I had a handful of FTF's in the first few magazines until I broke the pistol down and lubricated the slide rails and chamber...to the point I would almost consider the gun "dirty". (Very easy to disassemble/reassemble, btw) Reassembled and haven't had a problem since, even cycling various brands of ammo. Bud's was great ,and for the money this is a great pistol. Just don't think you're going to win any marksmanship awards right out of the box. I've owned just about every major brand of pistol in .40 caliber and predominantly used to carrying a 1911... this is a good one, it just takes a little getting used to because of the long pull and double action, but I'm really liking it now and shoot tight (6" or so) patterns out to 25 yds. This Sig just takes a little warming up to.

Great gun. Hit the center of the bull's eye from 33 feet. Shoots anything you put in it with no problems.

I just received my P250 today and took it apart to examine it. One thing that I noticed is that the slide seems loose from the polymer frame. Is this normal? It has me a little worried right now and I might need to take it to an expert, knowing that I am not one. Thank you Bud's for getting it to me before my 3 day weekend so I can go and play with my new toy.

This is my first handgun and I must say I love it. This is great gun for the price. It's a SIG, enough said. For those who are looking to own a SIG, but don't want to pony up the big bucks for some of their higher end models than this is the gun for you. The service from Bud's was great. I received the gun two days after they received payment. I put 100 rounds through it already. I love it! it has phenomenal power but it is controlled. The recoil is minimal when you consider the power a .40 has. The trigger is longer than other semi-autos I have shot but once you get used to it it's great. The trigger pull feels like a revolver trigger to me. The gun was very accurate, trust me I am not a good shot but I was able to get some decent groupings. It's a great looking gun too. I got the full size one and it looks mean as hell when you pull it out of it's case. For $370 you can't go wrong with this SIG.
