Won't find a better bolt 22 with this many features at this price anywhere else! Super Accuate and a Great Trigger! These also have a lot of aftermarket accessories available if your looking to customize! I highly recommend the FVSR, Savage got it right with this lil guy! Buds was great as usual!

Stock: You have got to upgrade this to make it shootable. I knew I was buying a 22, but the stock on my BB gun is on par with this one. I upgraded the stock and added nylon spacers. Trigger: really, surprisingly good. I've shoot geiselle, volquartsen and timney and this one is good. It is better than expected. Action: sticky, not like my remington 700, but I can't and shouldn't expect that out of a 22. It's sufficient. I think it will wear in. Accuracy: once I got the know the rifle, I was dead on at 50. I punched one ragged hole in the bullseye after 4-5 mags. Magazines: buy some ten rounders. I've got no beef with the mags but am not going to rave about them. I've no failure to feeds and the mag seats well. It is a little awkward to get in and out. I'd say they are less than expected. Bottom metal: I upgraded with dip products. The bottom metal was really flimsy and I needed the upgrade with the new stock. That's another $40. Threading: clean. Metal finishing: it's ok. It's rough, but looks durable. I'll end up rattle canning it. Upgrades: You're limited on types of upgrades (the 10/22 seems endless when shopping for upgrades for this gun). Though it's a $200 gun, you will put another $120 plus into the stock and $40 into bottom metal. Without the upgrades, I wouldn't shoot it much. With the upgrades, what a shooter! So much fun! It's a great price if you like projects like this.

Best bang for you buck. This rifle keeps on going up and up in price so you better purchase it before price is too crazy! I added a BSA Sweet 22 scope and it works great with this rifle. Sighted it in within 8 shots. I didn't even clean it like some people say you should when I first took it out to the range and my results were crazy good. This is my first rifle I have ever owned so I am no sharpshooter. After sighting it in I shot a nickle sized group with my first 5 shots at 50 yards, using Blazer Ammo. I shot several groups and it kept the same grouping. I shot some cheaper Winchester 333 bulk ammo and the groups opened up to about a quarter size. Still decent for cheaper ammo. I had some CCI RN 40 gr but I did not shoot groups. However I was having fun with the CCI shooting cloth hanger pins at 50 yards 6 out of 6. I want to try some standard velocity next, which Ive heard is even better. This gun with a suppressor would be awesome, but havent got thru the process of getting on yet. You can shoot zombie heads at 100-150 yards with ease and they will never know where the shot came from. Any prepper would be proud to own this gun! Now finding ammo is a different story! Great rifle!!!

Crazy accurate! I have a \"few\" rifles in my gun safe and this little gun out shoots them all. I\'ve probably not completely broken the gun in yet, but after about 75 rounds through it all I can say is \"wow\"! I shot my first 2 rounds at 25 yards to tweak the bore sighting and 3 rounds to sight in at 50 yards. The first 5 shot group at 50 yards was about 1\" with CCI Mini Mags. Next, someone left 6 clay pigeons set up at the range at approximately 140 yards. The first shot on the clay birds was low only because I didn\'t hold over enough. The next 6 shots broke 6 pigeons! Lastly, this gun LOVES Federal Premium Match 40 grain. With this ammo, I shot a five shot group at 50 yards off a bi-pod with a cheap 3x9 scope under 3/4\" center to center with 4 of these 5 shots less than 0.15\" center to center and lets just say that I\'m not a marksman by any means.
