This rifle is smooth and easy to use. Breakdown is much quicker than you would expect (this was my first AR style rifle). The Magpul accessories are as easy to use as the manufacturer supplied mag and the rail attachments go on-off with no hassle.

Great rifle and Bud's service was all I expected.

S&W delivers yet again! Had this for over 2 years now and zero problems to speak of. She now wears an EOTech Holographic sight that allows full use of the MAGPUL flip-up sights when and if needed. Buds as always knocked it out of the park with fast delivery and an extremely helpful staff. Will be returning again and again...

Nice firearm , recently got the weapon sighted in. Very accurate at 100 yds and 200 yds(my farthest so far), Could not be happier with the purchase. Firearm recieved was flawless no blems or marks. I have become a real believer in the S&W brand(currently have 8 firearms of various calibers as well as rifles, pistols and revolvers. all S&W) Would highly recomend S&W, warranty on there products is second to nobody.

This AR turned out to be better than expected. It was accurate out of the box and the fit and finish was better than expected.

This was my first AR purchase, and since then I have had the itch to own more so now I'm building a few now to go along with this one. When I went to order this rifle, I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger. I'm a big Smith & Wesson fan, so initially I figured I couldn't go wrong, but I wanted opinions. I watched video reviews, read other's reviews, and even asked in a Facebook group. I couldn't find a single negative thing said or posted about this gun, and everyone who shot/owned one highly recommended it. After receiving it, I can see why. After looking everything over, the gun looks fantastic, and I can't wait to take it to the range. I swapped out some of the furniture with Magpul equipment (stock, grip, and front grip) and it really made it a lot better. There was also a pleasant surprise in the box when I received it, a 3 pack of ladder rail covers. That really made holding the rifle a lot more comfortable. I can't wait to get some optics on this! Can you build one for cheaper? Definitely. I'm in the process of that now. But I really wanted this brand and the service and warranty that comes along. Just in case. I recommend this for anyone who is considering it.

Our purchase was made on June 12, 2016 and it was delivered on June 22, 2016. Service from Bud's was great with regular communication by email alerts as the order was being processed and shipped. The carbine itself was exactly what we expected. We've had a S&W M&P 15-22 Magpul for two years and it is similar in form factor to this 15T. We made one change, trading the buttstocks and pistol grips between our 15-22 and 15T, putting the Magpul furniture on the 15T. It was simple and took only 15 minutes. We've put 220 rounds through it to date including: PMC X-TAC 5.56 NATO 62 Grain Green Tip LAP; PMC X-TAC 5.56 NATO 55 Grain FMJ; Federal 5.56 NATO 62 Grain XM855 Green Tip FMJ; Federal American Eagle 5.56 NATO 55 Grain FMJ. We have experienced only one misfeed (a Federal American Eagle 5.56 NATO 55 Grain). The barrel has a 1-8 twist but seems to favor 55 grain over 62 nevertheless, shooting more accurately with it. We were on paper out-of-the-box at 100 yards with the MBUS sights and they required only a slight adjustment to zero (one 'click' down in elevation and two 'clicks' left in windage). The surprise in the box was a set of three ladder-style rail covers in black santoprene rubber. Maybe I missed something but I don't recall this being advertised as a part of the package. It was unexpected and a very welcomed addition! They make the handguard on this model AR very comfortable to hold. Overall, we're very pleased with the purchase, the transfer experience and the gun itself.

Another excellent transaction with Buds. Gun functions flawlessly and it was as described. Quad rail is definitely a plus but the finish on the lower assembly is not too great.

Great, smooth running gun. I've been looking to buy it for about a year and it hasn't disappointed. Does have a mil-spec buffer tube. With good ammo/proper shooting it will put the bullets on top of each other.

Gun was great, got it from the ffl 2 months ago, took it home, stripped and cleaned it. Took it out to the range and it performed flawlessly. Didn't know it came with mag pul flip up sights until I got it. I was going to buy them anyway so the surprise saved me some money. Comes with 1 mag pul p mag. This gun is more to me than I played for it. Buds was great and so was s&w. Thanks guys.

It took a while to pull the trigger on this AR because I was weighing customizing it myself or getting the 15T with the rails. Now that I'm looking at picking up another AR I am going with Smith & Wesson again and wish the model came with the rail option. My only gripe was the box this gun came in. When I buy a pistol that costs 1/3rd of what this does and it comes with a box I expected this gun to come better packaged. It wouldn't keep me from buying the gun again, but that was my only complaint. The gun has held up flawlessly and shoots like a dream. I'm excited to pair the M&P 15T with an M&P10. I'm also excited to replace these plastic mbus sights with the steel one's when they are released because what good are back up sights that can break easy!

Let me start off by saying that the shipping to my FFL was extremely quick and the whole purchasing process was smooth and easy. Thank you Bud's for that. Gun arrived at my local FFL and everything was operational and no marks or any damage of any kind took place during shipping. Took it home and put 200-300 rounds through with the Magpul sights on and was pleasantly surprised on the accuracy. With just the Magpul sights I wouldn't call it a "tack driver" out of the box but definitely wasn't inaccurate by any stretch of the imagination. I have since put on a Nikon P223 3-9X40 scope and now it is truly a tack driver. I had about a 1" grouping at 100 yards and a 2" at 200. I have done some long range shooting around 400 yards and had no problem hitting paper with nearly every round. I have not put any steel ammo through this so I can not speculate about how it takes that but I have had no mis-feeds or jams and have probably put more than 1000 rounds through by now. All in all, a great gun and I am super happy I bought it. No regrets here. In the next 6-8 months I hope to order another just like this to set up for a little closer range shooting. I highly recommend grabbing one of these if you are interested in the AR-15 area. It is worth the step up from the M&P15 Sport to get the mil-spec parts and the other small gadgets.

Outstanding firearm smith-Wesson is still one of the very best manufacturers of firearms their are in my opinion. Fit finish and performance. Love this gun.

Awesome weapon. I own two of these, both have performed flawlessly. Very solid rifle, the Magpul sights needed zero adjusting out of the box. Best AR you can purchase - at any price. In my opinion, this rifle beats the Ruger series hands down and is much more cost effective (and I love Ruger handguns).

I don't even know where to begin, this gun so amazing. It is quite possibly the best AR-style rifle ever made. Seriously, do your research, and it will be VERY hard it beat this rifle, especially considering the price! I mean, seriously! The stock, grip and flash hider are all standard, I replaced them on mine. S&W uses high quality aluminum on their receivers so that's a plus. Kudos for using great Magpul mags, and Magpul flip up sights are actually included (I'm getting real tired of seeing AR's that don't have sights, just saying). It comes with a great quad-rail with QD mounts on each side. And the best part about this weapon... a 5R rifled melonite coated heavy profile beast **drool**. Come on. you can't beat this thing. I modded the crap out of mine and for all intensive purposes, it's just a safe queen, but I love it. 400 flawless rounds through it, and it's just amazing. Absolute best black rifle out there!

I was lucky enough to buy this gun before tha markets went crazy. Now I can't even find quality AR's for a decent price. I went with this rifle because I trust the S&W brand and I really liked the look of it as well as the ample rail space. I work in law enforcement and this rifle is as good or better than anything my department uses. I have only been able to shoot 300-500 rounds through it due to the recent ammo shortage. So far I have had zero ammo issues or malfunctions. It shoots great and is accurate just like any other quality AR. I also replaced the grip and stock with OD green Magpul products and well as some rail covers and a forward grip. It sure is a sweet looking rifle once you personalizie it. I look forward to many years of shooting with this rifle (once the ammo comes back into circulation) and I'm sure I will not be dissapointed.
