I purchased this gun about a year ago and wanted to give it time before I wrote a review. Like many others before me, I decided I wanted to get into shotgun sports and really wanted to purchase an O/U. I spent around two months going to gun shows and local gun stores to get an idea of what I was looking for. A sales guy at one store told me shotguns were like getting married, when the right one is in your arms you will know it. I stumbled across the CZ Wingshooter at my local store and it felt perfect. The weight and swing of this guns was like it was made for me. I try to support my local stores, but they were selling this model for $1250 and did not have any wiggle room. The gun itself is beautiful and the quality is superb. In the last year I have put around 2,000 shell through this gun it continues to work flawlessly. When I pull it out of my case, people always ask me what it is, and are amazed that it was under $1000. In my mind, this the best mid priced over under on the market.

I did some extensive investigation on O/U shotguns prior to this purchase. All the way up and down the price and features spectrum. Went to the big box stores and handled them. Price was a factor but not to the extent that $3-400 dollars would stop me from getting a pricier shotgun than the CZ Wingshooter. This shotgun has the perfect feature list and fits right into a price void other manufacturers are not in. Stock has a high luster satin finish. The butt stock on mine was, I would call, a A+ grade with real nice grain features and a hint of tiger striping on both sides. My eyes just poped out when I saw that. The forearm is more of a straight grained walnut which matches the color and finish of the butt stock very well. The butt stock is equiped with a hard/soft butt plate like the one on my CZ 550 American Safari .375H&H. Metal to metal, wood to metal fitting was excellent. Engraving was done by a hard steadier than mine by a long shot, excellent. Supplied choke tubes all fit perfectly without wobble of any kind. All functions were perfect. Now to get some silver extended choke tubes from CZ and off to the trap range. Price went up $20 bucks the day after I purchased the gun. I recommend this firearm for the value/quality shotgunner.

Very nice shotgun. Nice wood and bueatiful balance for a o/u. Was not to sure about the sidlocks but they are very well done and actually enhance the gun. It may not be Italian, but if you didn't know the difference it's almost impossible to tell. Outstanding wood to metal finish and as I said earlier, the wood is nicely burled and fitted beautifly. Highly reccommended.

It is hard to find a review on this I will write one. I was looking for a nice over and under but did not really want to spend $2,500 + on a gun. I currently own 3 other CZ's; the CZ 75B 9mm, CZ 452 .22 Rifle and a CZ .45 Dan Wesson Heritage. I love all of these guns and they are all considered to be a very good value in their respective class. Based on this I decided to purchase the Wingshooter. I am happy to say it is also an extremely good value. This is a beautiful gun. The stock is a burled dark walnut, the engraving is very well done and the fit and finish on the gun is impressive. I have gone thru about 300 rounds so far and it has been flawless. I am very happy with it and would recommend the gun.
