Was somewhat skeptical about the firearm, but performed to acceptable standards for a shooting range. Recoil is quite manageable for a firearm of its size and caliber. Do not use steel case ammo. 80% of the time you\'ll get a light primer strike. Anything brass is likely to function with decent reliability. The light primer strike is cause for concern if this is to be a CCW. I recommend against carrying the DB-9 without first having the striker modified. Had one failure to feed, one stovepipe, and eight light primer strikes in the first 300 rounds. Recommend going with a Glock 43 for a single stack 9mm. It is at least 100% reliable after break-in period. DB-9 was impressively accurate up to 150 feet. Had no problem double tapping center mass or head shots from 7 yards. The double action trigger is very light. Overall Impression: Could be a phenomenal carry gun if striker issue was remedied.

Good size for pocket carry, I'm so glad it's a 9mm instead of a 380, had 5 light primer strikes in the first 200 rounds not bad for how little this gun is. Needs to be broken in though. Highly recommended.

Great pistol, great price and quick delivery! It\'s the gun Glock should have made. Don\'t listen to the haters. It\'s clear Diamondback had quality control problems early on, they\'re solved. I\'ve shot many rounds FMJ and JHP not one failure! It\'s a TINY gun you can\'t limp wrist it. Don\'t use junk foreign ammo, it loves Hornady Critical Defense 115 grain, feed it right. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

A lot of shooters do like/trust the DB9. I have to admit, I had an early model that was a pain in the ass. A couple of years ago I bought the DB380 and it was a great little carry gun. Never bobbled once. Some one offered me a 40sw Kahr, trade made. I\'ve always liked the size of the DB9. This one is shooting everything i throw at it. EDC.
