Hats off to Buds gunshop my seventh purchase=100% customer satisfaction. This compensated model was ideal for me. If your concerned with the bad effects of upward flash/gas release, yes it can blind you at night and yes shooting from the hip could be dangerous. I tell you what the reduced recoil is extremely noticeable and makes the 21oz weapon more manageable. If you get the 9mm barrel change the extractor as well, this will achieve 100% reliability plus no upward flash with these barrels. Now I have a light weight weapon package capable of three calibers. God made every man different; Sam Colt made them equal.

I was never a fan of Glocks until I held one. I'm in love with this pistol! It is more accurate than me and reliable. I fired 700 rounds through it with 1 FTE. My brother in law was holding it weird when it happened, I chalked it up as "user error"... The C model Glocks all shoot a bit smoother than the non-C versions and It is easy to get quick follow up shots. A concealable "plastic fantastic" full power auto, what else could you ask for? Oh, and remember when you shoot at night all muzzle flash causes momentary blindness, not just the flash from the comp cuts in the C-model barrel. Don't listen to every so called expert on a forum who has deemed this feature unfit for CCW.
