I bought this gun for concealed carry. The size of the fun is perfect and it conceals well with no issues. The great part is I now have a concealed carry pistol with .45ACP stopping power coupled with Glock reliability. The only negative thing you could say is about the magazine capacity, which is 6 rounds. However, this is quite normal for smaller pistols, but in this case your packing .45ACP vs. a smaller calibre. Anyone who puts any time in at the range should easily be able to neutralize a threat with 6(7) rounds. Highly recommend this gun! This is the 7th gun I have bought from Bud's and I have never had a problem. Great experience all around!!!

This is my 4th Glock (I have a G22, G26 and G19 as well). I wanted to see what the hype was around the .45 ACP round, the 1911 was too big and heavy for me. So, I got this and took it to the range, it did not disappoint. I was shooting Winchester Whitebox ammo with no issue and then loaded some Hornaday .45 XTP +P. Nothing like a 200 grain bullet at 1100fps. Very comfortable gun to shoot, conceals well and will fit almost any Glock 19 holster, the slides are the same dimension. I added the Pearce +1 magazine extension on 1 mag, it gives you 7+1 capacity and a bigger grip - but it does bulge your shirt a little more. Highly recommend this gun.

I'm normally a Colt & Kahr guy, but succumbed to the hype and decided to try a Glock...my first foreign firearm, too. It's a nice pistol overall, but compared to my Colt New Agent and Kahr P45, it's akin to holding a brick (and the G36 is a SLIMLINE™ model). The fit and finish are to a high standard, but IMO not up to the same level as Colt or Kahr, which also have tighter tolerances. I can't comment on reliability (yet), but I don't expect any issues...and of course, I received the normal outstanding service from BUD'S!

I picked up a G36 from Bud's in February 2009 and it hasn't left my side since. It has been 100% reliable; two of my buddies bought one at the same time and have nothing but good things to report. My wife and sister can easily handle the manual of arms as well as the recoil. In my hands this is the perfect .45 for concealed carry.
