SHot my new Beretta PX4 Storm Compact 9mm today and I have to say it is one of the best guns I have had the pleasure to shoot and own. The feel and control of this firearm is beyond my expectations. I am very please with the quality that Beretta puts in their guns. I would recommend this firearm for anyone that would like a reliable concealed carry handgun.

I have put about 100 rounds into my PX4 and so far it has been really good. The only bad thing I can say about it is that when I try to load a round in, it sometimes has trouble feeding the bullets through all the way, but that is with the cheap ammo only. Other than that it shoots well, its pretty accurate for a compact pistol, and its been reliable so far.

I've run 150 rounds through with no issues. It has a very solid feel while firing and very little recoil. 100 rounds went through with no fatigue at all - a pleasure to shoot!

Received my PX4 9mm compact last Thursday and took it to the range this past Sunday. I must say, I was terribly disappointed in the performance of this gun. I fired 120 rounds through it... only six of which fired correctly. Every shot was either a Jam, a failure to eject correctly where the shell was caught in the slide, or it did not load the next round into the chamber. I know there are break in periods for guns, but this was unacceptable. Thinking that maybe it simply needed to be oiled, I took it apart (which is very easy to do) and oiled all the necessary components. Upon doing so, I noticed a significant jagged area on the feed ramp where it should be smoothed out. This should have been done from the factory. I assume that this is what is causing all of the issues that I had experienced. I have a ticket opened with Buds to exchange the one I have for a new one. I will post an update once I receive the new one. For now, I am going to chalk this one up to a quality control issue from Baretta.

5 stars for both Bud's and Beretta. The PX4 Storm Compact has performed flawlessly for over 1000 rds. I have used light loads, +P, handloads of all sorts with out any problems. Recoil is very light when compared to my other hand guns (Sigs, HKs, S&Ws and CZs in the same caliber). In addition, the gun is easily one of my most accurate. The only problem I have is I can't find night sights for it. Other than the availabililty of accessories I would highly reccomend this pistol.

Great gun, even more accurate than my 92FS. IMO Rotating barrel design reduces perceived recoil allowing extremely fast follow up shots. Just love it. And as always the guys at Bud's are awsome.
