I have wanted a real good target iron site gun. The CZ455 lux fit the bill.the ones I\'ve seen in person were Beautiful. But when you order online you get what you get. I was disappointed in the stock. It has 5 knots and no real discernible grain. I was looking for a really nice beautiful walnut stock. It was a lesson I learned. If you\'re looking for eye candy you must search it out in person.. The gun is extremely accurate and works well. I bought a 10 round magazine for i it\'s completely plastic and they think a lot more of it than I do at nearly $40. I contacted CZ about the poor quality of the stock, They told me there was nothing they could do. I take it out on my 4 Wheeler in the afternoon I haven\'t zeroed in 80 yd and you can cover 10 rounds with a quarter. Again if you\'re looking for eye candy and expect something to be really beautiful search it out in person when you buy online you get what you get. The finish on the gun is a little bit dull which is very surprising and you can still see machine marks in the outer part of the barrel. I put a very good leather sling on it And it is nice enough. But I will take my KSA722 over it any time

CZ makes good rifles and this one is good but not great. I accepted it from the FFL dealer in spite of a flaw with the fitting of the stock to the barrel. The wood is slightly canted to the left leaving an uneven opening between wood and barrel on the left compared to the right. It does not effect the shooting but still is a flaw and so does not rate a 5 star rating. I own 2 other CZ .22s which are flawless in looks and function. I recommend anyone buying this rifle to check out this wood/barrel fit before accepting the arm.

Bud's staff did a fine job tracking my rifle as it was inadvertently shipped to an "out of business FFL" and had to be retrieved. The suspense, excitement, and wait was worth the efforts. My CZ 455 with walnut stock is a piece of art that fires bullets very accurately. Heard good stuff about both Bud's and CZ rifles. It was very true. Thanks!

Bought this beautiful rifle about a year ago, and have been very pleased with its out-of-the-box accuracy and reliability. The iron sights have made me as accurate as any sights I've ever used, and I don't plan to put a scope on this rifle. Not all walnut stocks are distinctive, but the walnut stock on this rifle says "quality". The bolt is a snug fit, tighter cycling than my other rimfire rifles. The magazine is plastic, which feeds as it should, but just doesn't match up with the impression of quality that this really nice gun otherwise conveys. Overall, I feel that this gun is a great value, and will stay in the family for a very long time.

I agree with other reviewers. It's a very solid rifle. The trigger is good, and breaks at about 3 1/2 pounds after adjustment. Note: adjustment requires the stock to be removed, which is no big thing, but still an extra step. It's possible to get an aftermarket spring, etc. and lower the weight, but I didn't think it necessary. I'm shooting about an one inch group at 60 yards with a scope without getting too crazy using Federal 36 gr hollow point. Also, the cartridges are costly. I bought two more off ebay, for $65 with shipping.
