After only shooting the gun 2 times (with non +p) the extractor fell out. Sending the gun back to Ruger. I really liked this gun and wanted to keep it as CCW, but have no faith in it at all. I have great respect for Ruger, but i'm going to have to stick with my SP101. Waiting to hear from Ruger on how they plan to fix the gun. Great service from Buds though

missouri , gun shot good at the range not much recoil for a short barrel no problem with federal or winchester ammo no jams , the triger takes some time to get use to since u got to pull it all the way back but atleast its not a heavy pull , shot pretty good at the range better than 380 , easy take down to clean, i like the size better than any 380 easier control , over all good gun

Was deeply disappointed in this purchase. Bud's did their usual great job, but then the new Ruger curse came into play. I looked the gun over before the transfer and didn't notice that the take down door was inoperative, so back it went to Ruger without a round fired. Lousy service from Ruger but I did get an apology from their President. Got it back in 3 weeks with the door fixed, but after 50 rounds the rear sight fell off during a reload and the gunsmith at the range got it back on, but 5 rounds later, it slid over the the left and the gun was inop again. Guess I got a lemon and a half so I traded it off for a Springfield XD compact. Not a pocket carry but it fires without fail. I am done with Ruger, which is sad since I have several of the older models that I love. Hope they get their quality issues figured out!

Another awesome experience thru buds. I have put over 500 rounds thru my LC9 without a single glitch. The only problem I has was the rear site loosened up and slid over. There is a pin that lives under the rear site so be careful when repositioning it not shear the pin. Put it back to center, a drop of lock tight and bang back to less than 1" groups at 25'. Awesome gun for the price and excellent conceal.

Great gun, shoots well, no problems except rust appearing on slide. I sent it back for Ruger to refinish. They said it is common because of sweat from concealed carry. I have never had a gun rust like this that I carried. I keep mine wiped down and clean. They say they will refinish one time for free, hope it doesn't happen again!

Put 200 rounds through it the day that I got it (after a thorough cleaning, of course) with no problems. Much more accurate than I anticipated. I would anticipate that most people having a problem with this pistol either need to try different ammo, or didn't clean it properly before firing. New firearms, especially Rugers, are full of grease and need to be cleaned before using. If not, you will have problems.
