Just a fantastic rifle. No comparison to older Vangaurds in this price range and even more. Shoots better then I do. Five shots at 100 yds and all within a 1 1/2" which is good enough for my standards. Im sure in the right hands it would even shoot better then that. All the gaps and lines are near perfect. It's two stage trigger is a nice add on also. The stock with the rubber type inlays seem very durable and solid. It's worthy of all the hype for sure.. I compared it to a friends model 700 which cost him around $750.00. This Weatherby is just more tighter and solid all the way around. Im glad I bought this rifle and you will be too.

woooooow!!! Great gun and fast shipping. I mounted a Leupold vx-1 LR scope using Federal ammunition with 110 g. Barns triple shock tip with 3500 fps. Midway had this ammuntion on sale for $27.99, they usally sale them for $46.99 so I bought 20 boxes and I am very happy. In the process of breaking in my rifle I'm getting less them .5 inch group at 100 yards. I also put on a limbSaver recoil pad and SharpShooter rubber and recoil feels less than 30-06 and just little more than 308 and it's pleasure to shoot. We were initially done with deer hunting this year, because me and my son already harvested 11 deers this season. But now I'm really want to harvest just one more with this rifle and see how it does it in real hunting situation.
