Decent little gun, had a few malfunctions with cheaper ammo, but for the price it was to be expected.

Excellent pistol for CCW, except for the sights, you must change them to night sights.

Great gun, easy to maintain

As usual this Taurus came covered in a preservative as it should be and needed a good cleaning inside and out. I took it to the range and it fed everything I put through it, including several different types of JHP ammo. Not great accuracy, but plenty good for it's purpose. It feels good in the hand and the sights are good. It's a very nice size for concealed carry. My one and only complaint is the trigger. It has a long pull with quite a bit of creep. With a better trigger, I would have given it a top rating.

Love the gun very small for CCW,,,,we hammered a couple hundred shells thru it and with no problems- Taurus makes a great product.

Received the gun very quickly after payment cleared, I was a little skeptical at first with a price of only $280 but gun looks great, comes with the hard case, 2 mags a 12 round and 10 round even the tools to adjust the sights come with it. Before taking it to the range obviously I cleaned it, it's very easy to disassemble to clean, no tools required which is nice. At the range it shot great, has a little kick to it but for such a compact .45acp pistol its very manageable, I had no need to adjust the sights and it took a short amount of time to get used to the recoil and sights and I was grouping pretty well, the 12 round mag had an extension piece on it and makes it stick out a bit more and was not completely flush with the grip but it worked flawlessly! not 1 FTF or FTE, every round went bang, as far as the lower capacity mag I would get a feeding issue pretty much every time, I hope it's just the spring needing to be broken in or something, but like I said the 12 round mag worked flawlessly and would definitely trust it as a carry gun which is what I wanted, it is pretty light fully loaded for a .45, I'm very happy with the gun. Overall my only issue is the 12 round mag not being completely flush and the feeding issues I had with the lower capacity mag, other than that, looks great, feels great, and shoots great at a very good price, I definitely recommend especially if your on a budget.

Bought as a gift for the son. Good thing he got to it first that is a fine gun for the price. Bought for tight conceal with WW2 knock down power and believe this is it easy on the eye and back pocket.

I received this pistol yesterday. I love it! Just as I expected. However, I was surprised that there wasn't any spent cartridges included as have been with other pistols I have bought.

This is a great compact .45 acp! I took it straight out of the box to the range and ran 100 rounds of cheap 230 gr by 2 mfgs. I had read a lot about the ten round mag jamming. It's a double stack and I made sure to pack the rounds to the back and from side to side. I had zero feeding issues. The first round FTE. That happened once more. I think a thorough cleaning will remedy the FTEs. I HATED the 12 round mag. The grip extension moves as there is a very small gap when fully seating the mag. It also throws off the balance of the gun. I will never use the 12 mag. I was trained by the Marines to always to pack my mags. Maybe that'll make a difference. I highly recommend this. It will be my primary CCW-just waiting for my CHL to come through!

Taurus has done a very fine job with the new PT-24/7 G2 Comnpact .45 ACP. I received my handgun about 6 weeks ago and since then I have fired over 300 rounds of 230 grn FMJ mostly Federal and over 400 rounds of Federal Hydra-Shok and other duty loads. No problems to report feeding or extracting. My only negative comment about the 24/7 G2 is about the long trigger press on DA mode; will practice will be OK!

Got this for my CCW and Buds was awesome shipping it. As usual, I take apart my weapons to get all the old packing grease off it, clean it, and go through a oiling process utilizing Froglube. Then the next day I took it to the range and it was an awesome little gun with lots of power. Only bad thing, the reason I gave it 4 stars, is because the 10 round magazine keeps jamming the gun. Took that apart, cleaned it a few times and it still jams it. In the process of contacting Taurus, so I shall see how that goes. The 12 round fires awesome and the gun is sweet. Just that dang 10 round magazine ticks you off!

Although it took quite a while to finally ship (still within Bud's stated 3-7 business days), I am very happy with this purchase. For just under $400, this little CCW gem is perfect for my needs. It comes standard with a 10-round and a 12-round magazine. The larger mag actually extends the grip slightly. Shooting with both magazines, this gun felt like it was an old friend, right out of the box. Another pleasant surprise was the plastic hard case with foam inserts supplied with this purchase. Taurus went above and beyond by also including a cleaning brush and a magazine loader (not a LULA, but very similar). All these "extras" were nice, but how did the gun perform? In a word--flawless. Over the past month, I've run 300 rounds (various manufacturers) through it without a single issue. Out of the box it was extremely accurate, too. Taurus, you have impressed me. I hope I never need your lifetime (of the gun, not the owner) guarantee, but it is nice to know it is there.

My first Taurus and my first 45. Comes with 10 round magazine and 12 round magazine. 12 round magazine gives a full grip. It's as pretty as the picture. I really like the way it looks. The finish is very nice. It is a handful for sure but manageable. Mine wasn't even close to being sighted in but didn't take long to get it right. No failures or malfunctions of any kind in 150 rounds. I'm satisfied with this pistol. Trigger takes some getting used to. Single action is not hair trigger at all. Still has 1/4" travel. I'll rate it by what I know so far. 4 stars
