Great little 22. Solid heavy and well made. A bit loud but I don't mind at all. I like the bull barrel with the threaded end. As several reviews have stated it is a bit tricky to reassemble. I've done it so many times that it's very simple for me but I can see why so many people have problems reassembling this pistol. It's a lot of fun to shoot and very accurate, Great service from Bud's and overall I'm very happy with my purchase

This is a GREAT gun. Ruger hit the mark on what I wanted. I found the gun points very well and it's light weight and shoots what I am at.

FFL dealings, shipping and service all snag free with Buds. Ruger 22/45 is probably the coolest 22 I've ever owned. It's fired ever type of 22LR I can find without a single malfunction. I installed a Hogue wraparound grip not that recoil dampening necessary. Adjustable sights, threaded barrel for add ons and a low bore axis similar to the 1911 make this a good purchase.

Bought the gun on Sunday and received by Thursday. Bud's processing and shipping was fast. Unfortunately, the gun itself has some issues. The rear sight was offset to the right. Not a big deal, I can press it in and get it centered up. Upon further inspection, I noticed the entire sight is actually canted to the left. Meaning it is not perpendicular to the front sight. There is a significant gap between the sight base and bottom of dovetail. It can be fixed, but you shouldn't have to fix a new gun. Quality's just not what it used to be. Haven't had a chance to fire it yet.

I bought this pistol for several reasons, A. It is a Ruger .22, which have always proven reliable in my experience, B. It had the threaded barrel, which I'll need whenever ATF finally approves my .22 suppressor, and C. Bud's price was the best around. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got it home that I noticed a horrendously sloppy gap between the rear sight base and the dovetail cut. Literally you could slip a large paperclip into the gap, so poorly fitted that the rear sight base wouldn't even center over the receiver. So what did the Ruger QC people do? Just adjust the sight blade all the way to the right to compensate. Who should complain about that? I fired 50 through it just so I know what I can expect from the second one (since I'm not keeping this cosmetic dog) and it did function perfectly, as we all should expect from this series of guns. However, Ruger's QC is for the birds in my experience.
