Love this gun! Eats everything i feed int it with no problems. Fast and reliable service from buds to my ffl dealer too. 10 out of 10 for sure.

This is my second 1911 I have ever owned, and did a few months of research before I bought the TACPAC. Originally I wanted a stainless 1911, but the deal for this TACPAC was too good to pass up. The gun shoots amazing right out of the box. I have put about 100 rounds through it since buying it and have had no issues at all. The gun comes well equiped with 3 mags, a nice holster, great packaging, great feel to the front and rear checkering, the 3 dot sights are easy to put on target, and overall a great gun. The only negative I have on the gun is the Nitron finish! I now sometimes wish I would've stuck to my gut and bought a stainless, because right out of the package when I got home with it from the FFL I looked closer and see spotting on the slide and frame where the Nitron finish didn't completely cover the gun. Now I know that over time the finish will come off from holster wear and the action of the gun firing and the frame rub under the barrell/slide, but I haven't even shot the gun yet and I see the Nitron finish not completely covering the gun in spots, COME ON! I wil have to contact Sig Sauer on this one, but haven't yet, and the only way you can see the spots is in sunlight or were light reflects the steel that is under the Nitron finish where it didn't cover it so it looks like a sub par finishing job. That is the only knock down I have on the gun because other than that it is everyhting I wanted. The guns I was looking at buy before this one was the Remington R1 Enhanced Stainless, Springfield 1911 Loaded Stainless, and Para Elite 1911 Stainless, but I bought this from Buds for $744 which was less than the others, and about $150 cheaper before tax at most sporting good stores where I live in Texas, so again too good of a deal to pass up.

This is my first 1911 but i've handled a few colts and I have to say that I love this gun! The trigger pull is amazingly crisp and short and it is so accurate. The recoil is minimal and it is by far my favorite pistol now. The fit and finish are great and it is truly a beauty to behold. I put cocobolo crimson trace master series laser grips on it and it looks great!

Bought this a couple of months ago. First Sig and first 1911. Have around 500 rounds now of everything from SWC hand loads to factory HP's without a hiccup. Fit is very tight and I really like the even nitron finish. Makes holes right were you point it. Third purchase from Bud's and just as easy and painless as the first two.
