Like others, I am having lots of problems with my GSG-1911. FTF, FTE, stovepipe, you name it. At least one round out of every magazine doesn't feed or eject, sometimes several. If I can ever find some CCI Mini-Mag's I'm sure it will be better, but in the meantime this weapon is anything but reliable. I have taken the step of removing the excess paint from the rails and it didn't seem to help. I oiled the piss out of it but I'm still having problem with any of the ammo I can find.. Hopefully it will get better with time...

Simply fantastic little gun! Full size 1911 that you can shoot affordably all day long. Finish is solid and it shoots great. I put 30 rounds into a apple at 30 feet with no misses. Little bit of a pain to break down and clean, but other than that I have no complaints. Buds was once again great to work with and I received my shipment is 2 days. Thanks Buds for keeping me a loyal customer!

Well i love the gun cause it cycles flawlessly even with Remington subsonic ammo. Feels just like the real deal. So far all the 1911 parts have fit. If i had to say anything negative it would be the ambi safety feels cheap and i dont think it even works from the right side.

Could not be more satisfied with this purchase. The craftsmanship is excellent. I put a couple hundred rounds through on the first outing with 0 issues. It feeds properly, ejects properly, and ejects the mag very nice. I really don't think you could find a better quality gun of this nature for the price you pay. Well worth the very small investment. Also if you feel the need to do any upgrading, many of the parts are interchangeable with the full size 1911. And once again Buds has amazed me with their extremely fast and accurate processing and shipping. This is my second purchase from them and still cannot believe how fast I receive my purchases. A+, Keep up the good work!

The GSG is a really fun 22LR pistol. I have a good deal of experience shooting both the standard model and my newly purchased model with the rail and fake suppressor. They are reliable (it is a 22LR so there are going to be some issues), the fit and finish of the gun is top notch, and you can use many standard 1911 parts on this 22LR version. Yesterday i put about 200 rounds through it with only one FTE and no FTF. I was shooting cheap Winchester ammo too. The only thing that I am not liking is the magazine does not drop freely out of the gun while in last shot hold open. That might be an issue with breaking in, but its not that big of a deal. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Buds had the lowest price i could find. I would recommend this to someone looking for a quality 22LR 1911 style pistol.

This a a rather amazing gun. It's the size of a standard 1911, but shoots just about any velocity 22s I've fed it. The engineering in this thing is quite amazing. Works great with or without a (real) suppressor. The fake one that comes with it is neat to look at, but is nothing more than a toy. My only complaint is it takes tools to disassemble, but this is only mildly annoying. Great purchase for a fun and inexpensive plinker.
