Good value in a pocket 9mm. Mine continues to work flawlessly. It's not a range pistol

I've been looking for a 9mm I could carry in my front jeans pocket, and took a chance on the Kahr CM9. It fits fine in a pocket holster. It's a little tight, but I still can draw smoothly without hanging up. Have run about 200 rounds through it, without any problems. I did take it apart and polished the feed ramp and trigger mating surfaces with a dremel felt wheel and polish before ever firing it. I frankly don't understand those who complain about the long trigger pull, and I'm one of those who usually purchases a trigger kit or does a trigger job on just about every firearm I have ever owned. The trigger pull is long (similar to a DA revolver), but is very light and crisp for a DAO semi-auto. I couldn't ask for more.

If you're looking for a pocket-carry semi-auto pistol, you'd be hard-pressed to find one better than this. I'm a quarter of the way through the break-in process using the junkiest ammo I have--dirty 115-grain Wolf steel-cased. No stovepipes, no FTEs or FTFs. I sometimes carry a Glock 36, but my main carry weapon is a Kahr CW9 so I thought the two-finger grip on this CM9 might be a problem, but this is easy-peasy to shoot, much easier than my old Glock 27, and this one's springs are still stiff. I didn't even notice that my pinky has no place to rest, and shooting one-handed is a breeze. The trigger pull is long but steady and smooth, and it has a long re-set. I bought this to pocket-carry when I can't easily, comfortably, or reliably carry the slightly larger CW9, and the three holsters I have for the CW9 (stealthgear USA, Smart Carry, and Comp-Tac Infidel Max) all fit the CM9 as well. I plan to get a front pocket holster from Alabama Holster for it. The sights are dot-on-post, which for me is quicker to align than others I've tried. As for accuracy, I'm no marksman, but I was able to consistently make 2- to 3-inch groups of six rounds each from five yards. As always, Bud's had the best price, and the process was straightforward and painless.
