IMO, this is the best available 1911 on the market at this, price point. This purchase was to use as a base for a custom gun for my brother-in-law. I've bought 2 and have worked in 2 others.

Ordered the Gun on Sunday arrived Wednesday. Thanks Buds. Range on Thursday and sent 100 rounds down range. Only thing I did before going is ran one lightly oiled patch and the gun shot perfectly. Light trigger and easy to handle. I'm a lefty and there wasn't a problem with the mag release. Now I have a new favorite gun. For the price the choice is clear. It may not be a match grade pistol however I'm not a match grade shooter. My friend has a colt that I'm going to compare it to next week. I'll let you know.

This is a great looking, great shooting pistol that is solidly built. I have 10 handguns and shoot most accurately with this one. Excellent trigger. I can highly recommend this handgun.

First off, I\'d like to thank Buds for a smooth transaction on the purchase of this firearm. I have purchased many firearms from Buds, and I have no reason to shop anywhere else. Now for the gun...This thing is beautiful, and I love the way it looks and feels! I just wish it were somewhat reliable. The gun has no problem firing or extracting, but it fails to chamber a new round about 20% of the time. I have tried Remington UMC, Winchester white box, Federal American Eagle, and Blazer Brass, and they all behave the same. Changing magazines helped a little, but even with a Wilson Combat 47D, I still get a about 5 failures out of a 100.

Sold my first SR-1911 and new it to be an instant mistake. Took me a year to buy another and it shoots as good as the first, perfect out of the box. I love these guns and will hold onto it as long as I am capable.
