Too bad Windom is now out of business. This is a great AR for the price. I’ve modified it somewhat with a free floating hand guard and swapped out the stock and remove the original front sight.

This is an amazing ar I bought a red dot and shot 100 through this gun it shot amazing. Would highly recommend but be sure to clean barrel because the factory lubricant will show everywhere if not thoroughly cleaned.

This is one of the best AR-15's out there. All of the build construction of a gun twice the price. Plus the gun fires like a dream. Accurate and give small groups on shots.

I purchased one of these Windham "AR's" from Bud's. I was a little skeptical at first but after putting 500 rounds through the rifle I am a believer. I have shot everything from cheap steel cased to costly "match grade" .55 grain ammo without a hitch. I put a Vortex 1-4 x24 scope on it and am consistently shooting sub MOA groups. I carried an Bushmaster "patrol rifle" on-duty since the late 80's and this Windham has a much better fit & finish, not to mentions it's accuracy. Bud's shipped the gun and it was at my "FFL" within a week, what more can you ask? Great deal, great gun, and Bud's has always gone above and beyond.

I've only oened one AR in my life, I am glad my first was this one. It has never FTF, jam or FTE. I love this gun, put a FF quad rail on it, along with a PA red dot and a UTG fore grip w/ deployable bi-pod. Dead center every shot at 30yds and 1/2 groups (3 rds) at 50 yds. Best gun for the money. Shooting AE 55gr FMJ.

Fit and finish were good and ran 180 rounds first day at the range flawlessly. It's a great gun for the price !

After much research and going back and forth between this rifle and others similiarly priced I choose this one; and I'm glad I did. This rifle has eaten everything I've fed it so far from cheap steel to brass, no hiccups. Fit and finish is good. Upper and lower fit together tightly but not ridiculously tight. The take down pins are tight but doable without tools. Overall, I love this rifle. I will definately be purchasing another WW gun in the future. As for Buds...everything went well. I used the E-check method to pay and when they say up to 5 days for money to clear...they mean every bit of 5 days. Over all a very pleasant experience. I've been trying to turn every gun nut onto Buds!!! Now to quote the source of where I heard about Buds...."Life is good"

After 2 months of research, I settled on this rifle. When I got it home from the FFl, I was able to exam it closer. It had a very loose fir between upper and lower receivers. I could see the house across the street and see cars passing in front of the house.I called Windham about it and got excuses about tolerances. Told them I wasn't happy with it. They said ship it back at my expense. Finally got them to pay shipping. After they received it, I didn't hear anything from them, until I called them 5 days later to see what progress had been made. The guy who answered the phone had no answers, more excuses, and a bad attitude. Called a week later, more tolerance excuses, and heard that the gunsmith tried only two uppers to find a tighter fit. They said they would try different lowers. Checking my email later that evening, I got an email from fedex ground saying it was picked up for shipment. When I finally got it back, it wasn't much better. Final conclusion: STAY AWAY FROM WINDHAM. WEAPONRY !! Bad fit, bad customer service and bad attitude. If you're going to brag about 'MADE IN AMERICA', and about your warranty, then live up to it. Don't talk the talk, if you can't walk the walk! Get out of the way, and let China build it!! Should have gone with DPMS or Del-Ton. I've looked at many other AR's since and seen good tight fits from other manufacturers, even a few Windhams. Maybe they need better quality control, and better gunsmiths with a lot better attitudes.

Exceptional Quality. I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Windham. At 100 yards it shoots dead on every time. Would highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking into the AR market.

Nice AR shoot 100 rounds at the range and it performed very well. Processing seemed to take quite a while by using ACH but still got great rifle.

I am in love with this rifle! Forunately I bought it before the Great Gun Panic of 2012 and a bit before Windham's reputation grew. I was lucky enough to get in on the ground floor so to speak. So far this gun has shot every bit of ammunition I have cycled through it. Probably 1000 rounds with not a single misfire, ftf, or fte of any kind.

I'm very satisfied with Windham Weaponry's AR. Can't wait to attach the scope. This is the second gun I've purchased from Bud's. Speed of delivery has been great and I've had no issues taking possession through a local FFL dealer. Keep up the good work, Bud's!

Fit and finish were excellent and the gas block is on the same plane as the rail so no problem adding the Troy BUIS to this rifle. Does come with a Mil. standard sling. Have not made it to the range to test it out yet.
