Holds them 45 slugs and delivers them without discrimination. Need I say more. GET IT!!!

Unfortunately it's worthless. Too much downplay on top round no matter how full or empty it is. Said downplay will always pitch down top / first round, jam and not make it up the feed ramp.

This magazine has somehow failed after every use, often times failing more than once through my Remington 1911 which has yet to fail with any other magazine. That's not even an exaggeration, I have used it 5 times and it has jammed my gun 12 times. The only time I get even close to reliable feeding is with 10 rounds or less, but that entirely defeats the purpose of buying an extended mag. I am absolutely baffled how this design passed promag's quality control tests. On the other hand, the magazine is quite funny and a good conversation piece. People's baffled looks when I have this ridiculous thing hanging out the bottom of my 1911 made it worth the $18 even though the magazine itself feels and functions like the design was drawn up by children using crayons. Absolute dog water product, but nonetheless amusing.

Actually purchased a number of these. To be used in my Charter Arms .45 ACP Carbine. I bought & installed a 1911 magazine conversion kit for it. And it works flawlessly. As do the magazines. I carry them in a WWII-era Thompson mag case. ProMags, I’ve found, can often be finicky. Especially in 1911s. But the Charter Arms seems very forgiving, and they perform splendidly. Certainly better than the clunky factory mags offered.

DOES NOT FEED WELL WITH COMPACT 1911S. Cant say for full sized frames, but my buddy has the same one and said it functions perfectly. It has really good quality and feels put together definitely recommend for the price if you got a full sized 1911

Failure to feed every other round. Cool conversation piece not applicable for range use.

Great looking magazine but a joke when it comes to function. Put 10 rds in it and you might fire them all. Put 8 rds in mag and you will get them all fired at your target.

I bought 2 of these, 1 functions flawlessly and the other has some problems. The problematic one occasionally jams because it sits loose, using some pliers I bent the top lips more inward which made it reliably feed approximately 60% of the time. Will work on it more. These were only $15 each so I'm satisfied with the level of quality.

Thought I would save some time at the range, but I would not buy these again. Mag spring does not push the nose of the round up at correct angle so problems feeding. Tinkering to try to repair to get mag to function with fewer then max capacity. May end up in the next load of scrap metal.

This 15 rd. High capacity .45acp magazine by Promag is a very well made magazine with two small problems: It would be better with a steel follower designed for ball ammo. Also, the top rung of the spring needs about a 22 degree angle bent upward, approaching the follower. All my other good Feeding mags have that and never fail to feed. I bent the spring and smoothed the follower and it works ALMOST flawlessly. Of course, ALMOST means range fun only. I will keep trying. Bottom line is I’m glad to have it.

A little too much. But fun to have.

Great extension magazine. Feeds well and does not have that extremely stiff spring. So it can be loaded without the reloading tool. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
