This gun really does what it's designed to do. First of all, after about 300 rounds I've had no failures. The gun is easy to take down and clean, and seems tough, i.e., it doesn't scratch easily. I thought the mags were hard to load, so SCCY sent me two more. I will say that I've had to use a loader to get 10 rounds in the mags. I also had a pin backing out of the frame, and they immediately sent me another pin and the gun tech gave me a few useful tips for installation. Yes, their customer service is outstanding, what you would expect if you paid big bucks for a gun. Whether you will like a double action only trigger is hard to say. Most guns in this class appear (to me) to be striker fired, so they have a lighter pull, but that is to be expected. You probably buy this gun because you want the safety inherent in this configuration. In sum, two thumbs up for the CPX-2.

Buds is great! The firearm was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. It is not super high end weapon but it beats a Hi Point everyday of the week. I have probably fired at least 1000 rnd since I bought it and the only failures have come from the bulk ammo. It for sure isn't a primary weapon but a good back up, small frame decent capacity and easy to shoot.

Received my SCCY CPX2 this past Wednesday. I ran 20 rounds thru it immediately after picking it up from my FFL. Today, I ran another 50 rounds thru it. All rounds were my own reloads, cast lead, 124 gr. I'm very pleased with this gun. It is an outstanding value.

Well pleased with this pistol.Fired 200 rds and despite a few FTEs in the first 50 and 1 FTF ( most likely ammo ) and 1 round that required a second strike, all those problems disappeared. The last 150 rounds showed no problems at all. The pistol does recoil a bit but nothing you can't handle. Bud's service as usual was top shelf This is my 4th purchase and I've got 1 on layaway. Bud's is the best and has the most competitive prices of anybody on the net.I'll be a customer for life.

Final opinion is to be determined. The first 100 or so rounds were pretty reliable; I had a failure to feed on the first magazine, but the rest ran smoothly. From that point on I was getting an average of 6 failures to extract for every 100 rounds fired. I stopped dumping ammo down the pipe after 350ish rounds. I called up SCCY customer service and they sent a prepaid UPS label for me to ship the pistol to the factory. We'll see if they can make her work. Present reliability aside, it's very lightweight, extremely comfortable and ergonomic in my average sized hands, the recoil isn't bad if you're accustomed to shooting, and the trigger pull is actually quite smooth and pleasant once you train on it a bit. I consider it a very attractive looking pistol, too. If the SCCY factory can make my gun work then I'd have to say it's quite an impressive package, and I'd be inclined to make it my EDC.
