I was in the market for a pocket pistol for summer carry and deep concealment. I knew I didn't want to go less than .380, but wasn't exactly set on a .380. I ran through a bunch of local stores, and watched a ton of reviews before buying, and ended up going with the TCP.
The only thing I wish I had done differently would have been to go with the next model up with the stainless steel slide. The alloy slide on this is not a problem by any means, but in my mind it will need more care. Fortunately for me I maintain my guns.
After getting the pistol, I proceeded to put some rounds down range and I was impressed. The trigger pull is LONG, but smooth and crisp. It doesn't seem any longer than it's counter parts such as the LCP and bodyguard, and I'd argue it is a bit smoother than the LCP. I had no malfunctions, and to my surprise, it was no where near as snappy as the reviews I had seen seemed to imply. Quite to the contrary, it shot smoothly and relatively flat. Maybe this is because I shoot a compact .40 on a regular basis, but it really is a pleasure to shoot.
Size wise, it literally fits in the palm of my hand, and is no thicker than my wallet. With a pocket holster it looks like I'm carrying a 2nd wallet when it's in my back pocket.
All in all, I'm really pleased with the pistol.
