AS always, Buds was great! Shipping was fast, on time & date. The product is great & Taurus Slim is actually smaller than PPK. And it's a 9mm.

Purchased Friday. Received Tuesday. Hats off on the fast shipping! Gun was covered in grease, oh well. Took it to the range today and put 100 rounds through it. Winchester white box, Hornsby critical defense, and federal premium hydra shok. No malfunctions. Perfect size and great price. Only beef I have is there is only one mag, but I knew that when purchasing. Pleased

Very good weapon. Love the size, perfect for the wife. No misfires, very little kick. Looking to purchase another for my daughters. Bud's service was great!

My first polymer, first subcompact. Well, some prefer blondes, some brunettes. I prefer revolver and full sized pistols. After researching subcompacts I chose to spend only a little bit of money, so I got this. In general I don\'t like the look or feel of polymer and this 709 is right in line. The small size and weight make this a snappy 9mm. Can\'t get my pinky on the grip. The double action is long and can feel resistance when pulling slowly. Single action is nice but not revolver single action. Mentally I can\'t get over so much plastic. But I knew this before buying. However, this is advertised as a concealed option at a low price. Well, that is what I\'m seeing. As a nerd I read the manual advises to load the mag to break it in. I loaded it one week before the range and it worked fine. (It is still hard loading the last round without my \'lula). If I was looking for resale value, there are other choices. I have it as a part time concealed and glove box gun. I don\'t see myself firing more than 50 rounds per month with it as I FAR prefer my full sized guns. For the price and what it does I find little to criticize or praise. $200 and it goes bang. That\'s 3 stars in my book. Charge $350 and im not interested.

Just bought a second because the first 709 was so perfect, I can\'t force a malfunction in it! It fires and feeds 100% every time and the finish was perfect. Comes with only 1 magazine. It has a small key lock built in (so no cable locks). Comes with 2keys. Has fully adjustable rear sights. Sights are white 3 dot sights. Then of course the manual and coupon for a laser for it. The finish on my second one isn\'t as nice. Actually the finish is fine, but pins had rough protruding plastic sticking out of the holes (I filed them down). And the trigger is not identical as the first, but still good. Overall for the $181.50 I paid, I think its a 5star pistol. Will need a good cleaning at arrival. They come oiled to hell to survive the trip from Brazil. Love what Taurus is becoming!
