Upon pre transfer inspection, i found a 1 in. spot on polymer frame between left rear of cylinder and cylinder release button that is severely worn/scratched (like it was heavily used or was hit by something). Also found scratches on left side of top edge right above cylinder and in front of rear sight. Wasn't damaged during shipping either because orig. box was in tact. Also the hammer is heavily stained with either dark oil or gunshot residue. Decided to take possession anyway and send gun back to Taurus directly for warranty replacement. As far as a review of the gun itself, I can't say much since I didn't have it long enough to shoot it. However the 2 finger factory grip is way too small for a guy like me who's 6'4 340 lbs so I'll have to special order the larger 3 finger grip from Taurus for $20. Other than that, the gun seems solid and loaded weight is comfortable for concealed carry.

My PD Poly did NOT arrive in factory new condition! Dirty, stripped screw head, a small area on the polymer barrel that looks like the gun was bumped real hard or dropped... Not sure if this is a Bud's Gun Shop issue or a Taurus, but I would guess that Taurus' quality control MUST be better than this so...

First buds, transaction was great. Asked them to get this to me quickly and boy did they, just two days to my FFL. The gun itself is great, I've had no issues with it at all. Took it right out of the box and shot a great grouping of .45 LC. I also suggest the Winchester PDX-1 410 shells, expensive but they do a great job and make a nice group. This gun is a capable CC weapon but you will need to find a good holster. Only issue I've found with the gun is that I feel the grips are too small but you can order larger ones from Taurus.
