The Ruger LCP worked flawlessly at the range; now ftf or misfeeds. I bought it for my wife, and she loves it with the laser which works great also. My wife finds that it easily fits into her purse.

This was my first purchase with Bud's. They were great, I'll only be using my local gun shop for ammo purchases now! This bad boy is amazing, I basically bought it to teach my wife to shoot. She loves it, I highly recommend this gun.

First, Let me say that Bud's is great and this poor rating is for the product and not the supplier. I can't understand why there any are high ratings for this firearm? I bought mine and put about 100 rounds down range and hated taking every shot. This pocket pistol doesn't have recoil it has snap, it wants to jump out of your hands? it wasn't until I shot my buddies S&W Body Guard 380 ACP just after shooting my LCP that I realized not all 380"s had to be horrible to shoot. The S&W Body Guard was far superior! And for all you out there thinking this guy must be a wimp, I shot the LCP back to back with my friends 357 Magnum 2" and we both agreed that the 357 was easier and more fun to shoot than the LCP. If you hate shooting a firearm you aren't going to use it at the range, not become proficient with it, and not be effective with it when you may need it to save you or your loved ones lives. Bottom line, there are far better 380's out there including the S&W Body Guard or if you choose to spend a bit more money the Sig P 238.

I really enjoy this gun, it's not my first choice as a concealed carry gun when I go out but if I'm wearing basketball shorts or something where weight and size is important this is the one I go for. Like most DAO CCW it does have a long stiff trigger pull, but not so bad that it is a problem in my opinion, I have seen a lot worse. Only thing I don't care for on the laser is that once you activate the laser, to turn it off you have to push from the opposite side to center slide switch. I understand this makes it more ambidextrous but I would definitely rather had a push on/off button on both sides instead of the slide switch. With that I kind of wish I had went with the crimson trace version, but honestly if I find the need to pull it out and engage a target, I doubt the last thing I'm going to worry about is turning the laser off. If it had a better on/off switch I would have given it 5 stars.
