Laser Stopped working after only a few months, constantly drains battery even when switched off.

I love this gun. I didn't have any problems with the laser like some of the other reviewers. Shot about 40 rounds after sighting the laser in and it held true and stayed on the whole time. This is my first Sig and I am very pleased. Before ordering, I went to a gun shop and held all the other guns of this size and the Sig fit like a glove.

Absolutely LOVE this gun. Have not had a chance to sight in the laser yet, but have put a couple boxes of Blazer Brass 124gr. through this gun without a single problem. I wouldn't recommend this gun for anyone without at least some experience with a larger caliber because the recoil is pretty significant (almost as bad as my 1911 .45) but it does return to the point of aim really well which makes follow up shots pretty quick even with the recoil. Takedown is the only problem I had at first but after finding a Youtube video it was actually fairly easy. The gun is very accurate and groups were very tight at 15 yds. Overall I couldn't be happier with this gun as it was everything I expected and more. If you are looking for a concealed carry 9mm I would definitely recommend this gun.

~Please understand that this is a right-out-of-the-box review~ This is a very solid, tight, mid-sized pistol. Very nice looking. Feels great in the hand with the larger mag. Not too unstable with the smaller mag either. It is quite a bit larger, and much heavier, than my TCP 738 .380 ACP. Will definitely be a Winter carry but should work with "baggier" pants and a tight belt. It fits well in front slacks pocket but has a slight profile. (IWB is not that comfortable for me). It comes in an insulated cardboard box which is extremely lame. The integrated lazer is a bit embarrassing. It turns itself off after a few rounds are fired. The lazer sight also seems to lose calibration due to recoil. I'll need to keep my eye on that to be sure. The gun was fairly dry out of the lame box so I lubed it when installing the ILM. The takedown is somewhat tricky the first time. Good videos on Youtube helped. On the range: Fired 30 rounds as a range test using both mags (3x 8rd mag, 1x 6rd mag). I had Luger PMC Bronze 115Grs. FMJ on hand. The first round failed to eject. I had 4 failures to feed (this was not a classic feed ramp / breech issue. The rounds never left the mag on full 8rd mag only), and the slide failed to lock back on empty twice. I didn't find these glitches too disconcerting for a new gun. A few hundred more various rounds and a feed ramp polishing should improve the dynamics well enough. I found the trigger to be consistent and smooth. Very comfortable to fire. Moderate recoil. It is accurate and the night sights are very nice. The "semi external" hammer helps to time release. So far I'm very impressed with this pistol. I'm sure that we will become good friends after spending more time on the range. I have no regrets. SIG did a good job. A nice case and a better lazer would make it perfect.

First off I have to say this is a great ccw pistol for the price. I just got done shooting my first two hundred rounds of blazer brass 115 grain with no malfunctions at all. And the accuracy on the pistol is top notch. The quality and finish are great as well. My only complaint is the sig sauer laser, it kinda of sucks. Every time I turn the laser on and fire a round it automatically turns off. After doing a little research online I am not the only person experiencing problems with this laser. I really hope sig sauer acts fast to find a fix for this laser or comes up with a new improved design. I give the pistol 5 stars, but because the laser is so bad I am only giving it a product rating of 3 stars over all. And is always Buds price was awesome on this pistol and shipped it to me fast, I give 5 stars to Buds for their service.

The pros The gun is very well made, small easy to conceal, very good sights, the laser is easy to use, the grip has enough roughness to have a fairly good hold.Very accurate an can be carried in a pants pocket with the right pocket holster. The cons The trigger is extremely long and only breaks very close to the frame it is smooth but its hard to feel the spot before break of the trigger to stage your shot. Both mags are hard to seat with the slide closed requiring a firm rap to seat the mags. The laser does turn off after each shot I don't know if that's normal or not I will have to research that. Take down is not that easy to do the first time I would youtube it for help. I'm not used to double action I've only own Glocks and 1911s so it took about 20rds to figure out the trigger. Because the grip size your finger curls around the trigger if you have XL hands making it very hard to pull the trigger all the way back as well hit a barn door. So I changed my grip a little and placed just the pad of my finger on the trigger and wow that changed the whole feel of the trigger without going this you will not like the gun much but take my advise and you'll love the the gun after that small adjustment weird yes but small gun small changes. I ran 50rds of 147gr HP +P and 50rds of 115gn FMJ ran perfect. My gun came pretty dry so I oiled mine up with froglube before taking it to the range. Group size shank as I got used to the trigger from 8in to 2in at 7yds off hand not bad for a small gun. Mine does seem to shoot 3 inches low I will adjust to this. So would I recommend this gun yes and no for women no they will not like the grip because roughness nor the trigger for its 7 to 8 lbs pull, for men with hand size no larger than XL yes just take my advise. I've shot the Kahr CM9 although lighter in wt and better trigger that's where it ends. The Sig is made way better as well less recoil for faster second shots if needed, night sights, laser ,holster and two mags makes it much better deal but you opinion may differ. Oh recoil well I shoot 45acp and have so for years so even with this small gun recoil is like a toy and can be shot all day without any discomfort.
