Bought this on a Tuesday night, was at my FFL by Friday. Just got to the range this weekend and it ate anything I fed it. Federal match bulk, CCI Standard, and Winchester M22. Only had one fail to fire in about 250 rounds, and that was just a dud round. Neat little pistol and fun to shoot. Good gun for the money.

Have bought several guns from buds now. Always my go to, shipping fast and no problems ... Received the little pistol last week. Wanted to do some shooting time before any review. Will have to say, am impressed with the quality and reliability of this 22. Right out of the box, no cleaning, nothing.... Ran 150 rounds of federal match ammo, 200 rounds of the Winchester m-22 ammo. Not one problem, not one !! Great little 22 for the money. A blast to shoot. Only real problem I have found is : You really need to pay attn. to how much ammo you run through this thing, before you know it, out of ammo. Great pistol, highly recommend my .02 cents worth, now if 22 ammo was that cheap !

After lots of research and reading comments I bought the sr22pb. Took me a while to finally get to shoot it but now after a couple trips out to the desert I can say for sure that it is everything I read about and hoped for. Broke it in with cci mini mags without a single issue. Recently ran some federal bulk ammo through and it still functioned flawlessly. Easy to break it down and also easy enough to change the base plates on the magazines. My grips also came off easily so I could switch it to the larger size. My son can handle it easily and it's pretty darn accurate given the short length of the barrel. Definitely a happy camper with ruger a d of course Buds is always great to deal with.

I have to say I'm VERY IMPRESSED with Ruger. Buds had the sr22 in stock and it was substantially cheaper to buy it online despite having to pay the California transfer fee and taxes once it was shipped to my FFL. I took it to the range and it ate up the Remington bulk .22lr ammo like nothing (I also fired Remington .22lr subsonics and the ever popular CCI minimags with no issues). No misfires, failure to feeds, or failure to ejects whatsoever. I put about 3 hundred rounds through it and tried out the two magazines that came with the gun, and 3 others I purchased separately without issue. Accuracy was good and I'm sure will only get better as I break it in and get used to it. Only one thing I don't like about it and that's the double action trigger pull before going single action. Fun to shoot, reliable, comfortable grip, easy to break down... GET ONE!
