Fit and finish were excellent. Everything looked good in the box. Some keep asking if the barrel is threaded. Yes, it is. It comes with a special wrench to remove the thread protector if you want to. \\r\\n\\r\\nDisassembly is as you can see on Youtube. The trigger guard pulls down and it is awkward to disassemble while holding the trigger guard down, but you can push it a bit to the side to make it easier.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe weight of the slide and the gun itself does reduce recoil, so it\\\\\\\'s pretty easy to shoot. There is only one magazine. Why? I don\\\\\\\'t know.\\r\\n\\r\\nWhat I hate about the gun is that it jams constantly. As in almost every time. Or not. Completely unreliable from tis standpoint. This was firing Federal Automatch 1200FPS, (described as \\\\\\\"optimized for semi-automatic firearms\\\\\\\"). In fairness to the gun, many have commented that you really need to use some of the higher power .22LR out there to cycle this unit. And, it is brand new out of the box. \\r\\n\\r\\nIf it remains this bad after a few hundred higher power rounds, I\\\\\\\'ll update the posting (and send it to Walther).\\r\\n\\r\\n

Always wanted a PPK/S. It does not disappoint! Worth every penny! Beautiful gun.

I literally just bought this because james bond used a ppk and i thought it was cool but it is a really nice shooter i love it, it does have a threaded barrel (since there is some misinformation in the q&a) you do need an adapter to put a suppressor on it and i do plan on getting one for it

It looks great but when it comes to use sadly there\'s an issue with casing escaping the chamber on about 50% of shots so the slide has to be manually racked to help it. It\'s completely random. Tried 3 different ammo from 19-40 grain and the issue persisted. Read it\'s an issue with too strong recoil spring.. but did not expect ANY problems with such a legend of a gun especially right away when first used. I am disappointed.

This is an absolutely beautiful pistol. Plenty of grip for larger hands. Slide is easy to rack. The breakdown is a little different but not difficult at all. The PPK/S is a little to heavy for a ccw ,so it is basically a range gun as well as a conversation piece. This pistol is on the expensive side for a .22 but I really wanted to add it to my collection. I have not been to the range with this pistol as of yet, but I do not anticipate any problems. This is a well made firearm. My FFL is a master gunsmith and he had nothing negative to say about the PPK/S so that is good enough for me.
