Excellent fit and finish works every time Taurus doesn’t get the recognition it deserves

I don't know why I ordered this because we keep them in stock. Good pistol for the money though.

First, Buds is a no nonsense way to purchase a LEGAL firearm using LEGAL means, through a LEGAL FFL. I will be on my second firearm from BUDS, (I don’t collect or horde ammo), but that was before there was an internet and a way to be competitive like BUDS, but I have owned firearms since 1975. This Taurus (as with most from this brand) are serious contenders for the price. Although it has been replaced by a newer model, they both have a cost advantage for many on a limited budget. For all the naysayers who balk at someone for not buying your best of best, never fails, three times the cost firearm ect…, when the bottom line is it offers protection at such an entry level price; either the buyer will prove it to themselves at the gun range practice that it is dependable enough to be useful in time of need, (as with ANY firearm we intend to rely on), or they never intended to put the time, effort, or finances into self defense, something I don’t recommend to anyone who is not willing to learn how a firearm operates, with regard to the safety implications we all attest is paramount to our sport & beliefs! good gun now have approx 8k through it recommend as you 1st gun price size and reliability is good making it a very good choice

Having shot hundreds and hundreds of rounds over the last few years I finally got my first failure to eject... Loved this gun so much I bought a G3C - the new model of this gun - a few months back.

What can I say other than it's a decent gun for the price. I use it as a bedside just in case all else fails weapon.

My past favorable experience with Taurus drew me to the PT111 G2 when I was shopping for a concealed carry sidearm. For the price, this feature-loaded handgun looked darn good compared to brands and models in the same category. I was not disappointed one bit when I received my G2 Millennium. I have big hands, so the grip-extender on the magazine gave me better control. The textured grip felt immovable in my hand and staying on target felt very natural, with no slippage, in scoot-and-shoot practice. For a double stack magazine, the handle isn't bulky at all and would work for smaller hands than mine. My 5'3" daughter loved how the PT111 felt and shot compared to my PT92, that is a bulkier grip double stack. That slimmer grip makes concealed carry stay "concealed". 300 rounds down range and the gun has no issues. Regular breakdown maintenance and lubrication have kept this sidearm in great shape and ready when needed. I think the grip extender helps with controlling recoil with rotational resistance transferred down to my little finger compared to when I was shooting a Glock 43X without the extender where the recoil felt sharper. There is some wear on the slide finish where it rubs going in and out of my holster, but I didn't buy it for it's long-lasting good looks. Long-lasting durability, reliability, and shoot-ability keep winning me over every time I go to the range. While paying a bit more for this handgun wouldn't have me praise it any less, I hope Taurus keeps this quality sidearm's price below that of it's competitors. For one, volume sales will keep them profitable. For two, it tells other manufacturers that they can more competitively price their handguns or watch Taurus capture more market share each year.

After having owned the Taurus G2 PT111 for around 6 years, it's safe to say that it's a reliable, comfortable and accurate pistol. The rough "sandpaper" grips are nice, and I personally like the thumb safety. The only downside is the heavy trigger; but for a reliable handgun, it's not an issue. This is an excellent handgun to own.

great conceal carry weapon right size love it

Purchased this for my EDC. Very nice compact firearm. I have shot it in the rain, covered in mud and after burying it in the sand. Never had an issue. Not a fan of the sights that came on it. I have recommended this firearm to several people that I know and they have purchased and love it. I would definitely buy Taurus again.

My favorite conceal carry firearm

Have had this since 2014. Shot several hundred rounds (I know, a little light). This gun has performed throughout. Never jams, very accurate and comfortable to shoot. Yes it is a Taurus (with a great warranty), but I would by another in a minute. A little wide for personal carry for me. Have only tried it with a couple of so so holsters, maybe with the right one? The price posted on this review page is really weird ($6,543.21). It was not that - Actually is was a great price! Thx Buds!

This is my conceal carry weapon. Shoots great and with 12 1 9mm you can't go wrong. Really like the Taurus firearms quality firearms at great prices.

Great gun for the price never had a jam no mater the ammo. Only issue is you must get use to the trigger pull has a long pull.

People throw a lot of hate at Taurus, but for this particular gun I have to disagree. I've had this for several years now, and I've had the chance to put well over 8,000 rounds through it...I have never had a malfunction, it eats every single type of ammo I've put through it, and it's pretty dang accurate for such a small gun. The finish is pretty well worn, but it's been in and out of a holster a couple thousand times, and I HATE the trigger, but neither of those are issues if you are looking for a reliable, inexpensive every day carry gun with good capacity.
