I purchased the CPX-1 because it seemed to be an outstanding value. After shooting it for a while I’m impressed with it in terms of it’s reliability, accuracy, and overall good looks. I particularly like the long trigger pull probably because I was brought up shooting double action revolvers and therefore find it easy to take up the slack and then squeeze one off. Back to it being an outstanding value, yes sir, it surely is. So much so that I also purchased a CPX-4 and as soon as they are available I’m going to latch on to a CPX-1 Red Dot.

I love this pistol! Great look and feel. It’s been a flawless operating gun so far and well worth the money. If your looking for a reliable semi auto pistol and don’t have a fortune to spend I highly recommend the SCCY. And thank you Bud’s first the layaway. Made my purchase even easier.

As advertised—replaced my keltec 380 as pocket carry— a little larger but still pocket carrable for a 6 foot 220 pound man use to pocket carry. Have not fired yet, but is well made and pistol based on my take down and examination.

This was the second SCCY I bought from Bud's Guns. Have not been disappointed in any of this and other things I've purchased. The SCCY, in my opinion, is very good, affordable gun. All I have to say is if you're going to buy online, I would start at Bud's first.

Quick and fast delivery. Did notice on first cleaning that rail seems to be dragging. Lost the bluing on one corner as well as slide stop on the gun was very hard to depress. After takedown and cleaning the slide stop works much better but the scraping on the rail does worry me.

Alright guys I normally do not review things but this has to happen. I purchased this pistol approximately 3 weeks ago and have been carrying it ever since. Right out of the box you will notice the two magazines (10 rd) with pinky extensions included on both making the gun feel great in the hand. The flat plates are included as well with the trigger guard also being a nice touch. The magazines initially feel stiff when loading making it difficult to load however after some time the magazines break in nicely. The gun feels worth way more than the price you pay and weight even loaded is very manageable. Before shooting the gun I racked the slide numerous times to help break in the spring. When I shot the gun right out of the gate I shot hollow points (115 grn) and +p (124 grn) ammunition with no FTF or FTE problems. I then shot a mixture of 115 grn FMJ's from aluminum to brass to steel case all with no worries or problems. I felt the trigger pull was well within reason for a carry gun but practice is needed due to the long reset but somewhat experienced shooters will not have a problem. Over the course of shooting the approximately 70 rounds my rear sight became loose and the windage screw would not budge with the sight eventually falling out. After contacting SCCY customer service I had a new sight mailed no questions asked (per their awesome warranty that follows the gun) and it installed no problem with them even sending the tool to install it with. Ordering from Bud's was also a great experience and I could not be happier with the purchase. I'm informing you of my experience so you can make an informed decision and be comfortable with your firearm purchase. Long story short would I buy again yes, do I have life preserving confidence in this firearm yes, is SCCY an awesome company to work with yes, is it worth the money yes, and should you order from Bud's yes.

I have bought many firearms from Buds and as always no problems and great service. The SCCY CPX-1 I bought is one tough gun. Picking it up you feel the weight. When you fire it you feel the quality. For the price in my opinion you can't get better.

I have only shot this gun one time,30 rounds. I couldn't hit the paper at five yards made some site adjustments to get on target. I think some of it is shooter error. I'll have to practice a little. I did have several feed issues. I hope those go away.

Nice gun feels good in the hand it's a little wide but still comfortable. shoots straight no jams so far. Ordered it on 7/27/17 picked it up 7/28/17 very strange?
