This was everything I expected it to be and more. Very solid and well made from end to end, including the Vortex scope. It bore sighted very well. Took two minor adjustments to zero in. truly a pleasure to shoot.

WOW! Really impressed with the Ruger American 223 and Vortex scope package. Gun was only about 4" off center with a factory "bore-sight" which was nice. After dialing in the scope and moving out to 100yds I was able to get consistent groups at 1' MOA, I even had a couple 3 shot groups that were 1/2" MOA with Hornady Vmax 55Gr factory ammo
Definitely pleased with this purchase. If you are looking for a budget type rifle that shoots and handles good? look no further this is it!

This is a great gun. Buying the package is much easier and a cost saver. The gun works great and is high quality Ruger. Also very easy to purchase from Bud's. Positive experience.
