This is a great little gun. I purchased a second one for another nightstand. If you are looking for something that will not jam in a defensive situation, this is a good option at a reasonable. Lifetime warranty on Taurus.

The model Taurus 856 .38 special 6 rd ultra light is a great carry gun, this pistol when used with jacket hollow point bullet is very lethal with 6 rounds. I have medium size hands and it fits perfect and I will give it a 5 star rating based on control, designed, the color finish, I will advise any lady to buy this for self defense purpose instead of automatic pistol it is easy to use.

The Taurus 856 comes in several variations. This one was my choice, because I love stainless guns. It's also available in all steel models too, but who doesn't love an UltraLight? At it’s heart, though, the Taurus 856 is a small frame, .38 Special (+P) revolver capable of removing the tarnish from the Taurus name. I will never own another Taurus semi-auto for as long as I live, but I definitely foresee more revolvers from the Brazilian manufacturer in the future. I have adored all seven of my Taurus revolvers.

I bought this as my personal carry weapon and it shoots great, it is light and easily concealable but don't plan on using it at the range all day.

Only fired about 50 rounds out of it so far. Good piece. Delivery time was adequate

Its a beauty this gun, almost weightless, shoot excellent nice balance, has a mediun recoil.

Great little light weight .38 special, I've only put about 30 rounds thru it but it shoots straighter than snubs I've owned in the past. I've also run one full cylinder of Underwood Ammo Keith style +p 158gr hardcast semi wadcutters and it handled them well, but hang on tight because this pistol only weighs about as much as cellphone. 90I is a

This is a superb post. I have the 1st model 856 and now own the 2nd generation model 856. This is a stylish and durable pistol. Accurate, dependable and inexpensive. I highly recommend this pistol and all Taurus guns. I am impressed with this pistol.
