Great pistol, good weight and feel, I can’t wait to get to the range and fire it. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a target pistol.

If you are a 1911 fan or carry one then this is the .22 pistol for you. None better and stands up to the test of time. Accurate out to any normal .22 pistol ranges, and feels good to shoot. I have both the older standard model and this one and of the two, I prefer to shoot this one as it feel good in the hand.

This gun is a great value for the money. Have been shooting targets and been pleased. Gun out shoots the shooter. Perfect feed and eject. Trigger a little rough but may smooth with use. Grip a little narrow for my hand. Bud's service and price are best around.

Possible lemon? Smooth transaction with Bud's and FFL but that's where the fun stops. The gun was very dry and dirty when unpacked and obviously had been fired which I attributed to factory test firing, they must have test fired a whole box! This gun is a ftf-fte-omatic no matter the ammo. It absolutely hates mini mags, likes Remington thunderbolts better and Federal target grade a little better but it's mostly a battle. I will work through all the Tandemkross tweaks for this gun and make the best of it.

Fast delivery and great service from Buds. I wanted a 22 pistol to take to the range and also to plink with cheaply. Right out of the box I fired 50 rounds of cheap lead nosed ammo just to see how it would handle them. It actually did quite well with only 2 FTE and 2 FTF all related to the cheap ammo. The sights were on the money right out of the box and feel in my large hands was good. Since the grips are molded onto the frame, I have ordered a Hogue rubber grip for a little better support while holding the gun. All in all I am quite pleased with this pistol and am looking forward to putting many rounds through it as time goes on.

My favorite pistol for target shooting. The stainless finish is great. There are some very sharp edges so be careful when cleaning the inside of the barrel. Front site replacement for a green fiber optic really improved my accuracy. People claim the trigger is horrible, don't listen to them they're just trying to sound cool about guns, real gunners don't care about triggers. When I got mine in it shot ok, kept getting failure to extracts. Then I swapped the extractor for a volquartsen one along with the loaded chamber indicator. Shoots FLAWLESSLY. Shot a whole box of bulk ammo (325 count) only one jam. It's a great pistol, HOWEVER, THIS PISTOL DOES NOT allow you to switch grip panels, not a deal breaker for me but it would be a lot cooler if I could. Gun also comes with a rail and its drilled and tapped for scope/optic mounting.

This has to be one of my favorite guns. Fires flawlessly and is supper accurate. Thanks Buds for another great gun and a great price.

Pistol is perfect...very accurate, no misfired in 200+ rounds in my first outing using 3 different ammos...I'm going to really enjoy this pistol...by the way, with Remington gold at 3 feet, it penetrates a 2 x 4... One caveat: when I took the obviously brand new gun out of the box and plastic bag, it was EXTREMELY difficult to get the mag out...no kidding...the dealer I was receiving it from tried and he was wanting to send the gun back...while he was busy with another customer I finally got it to pop out...after that I cycled it in and out and no more problem....I fully recommend this pistol.

BEAUTIFUL GUN, NOW SHOOTS FLAWLESSLY, BUT WHEN I FIRST RECEIVED IT I HAD TROUBLE WITH THE FEEDING. I INITIALLY SENT SIX MAGAZINES AND THE PISTOL BACK, RUGER, NO QUESTIONS ASKED,EMAILED ME A PREPAID LABEL AND IN NO MORE THAN 7-10 DAYS I HAD MY GUN. ORIGINALLY, I HAD TWELVE MAGS AND WHEN I SENT THE REMAINING SIZ BACK, AGAIN NO QUESTIONS ASKED, THEY REPLACED AND TESTED THE LAST SIX MAGS. MY PISTOL AND ALL THE MAGS WORK FLAWLESSLY. WITH SUCH IMPECCABLE SERVICE AND NOW FLAWLESS OPERATION, THE GUN NO WORKS FLAWLESSLY, SO I CAN ONLY GIVE A 5 OUT OF 5. ALSO, ALONG THE WAY I PURCHASED TWO MEC-GAR MAGS AND THE WORK FLAWLESSLY IN MY RUGER AS WELL. NATURALLY, BUD'S OPERATED FLWLESSL Y, AS WLL

Great pistol. Bought it for my 12 year old son. His accuracy was phenomenal right out of the box. I highly recommend it for training/beginners.

First purchase from Buds, gotta say it was flawless. Will buy from again, paid on Thursday recieved on Monday. As for the 22/45 great shooter out of the box , Ruger did it again, american made at its best. Bought the gun for my 12 year old and he was hitting everything he aimed at at 40 yards.We will shoot more this weekend. He Shoots my Smith 686 and 620 and puts me to shame, even I was getting 1/2 " groups at 40 yards out of the box and I cant hit the broad side of a barn.Great gun. Great seller. Easy as pie.....

I needed a fun plinking gun. This certainly was the ticket. Straight out of the case it cycled flawlessly. It's such a great deal for a great gun. My only problem is that I think I want one blued as well.

i hate to badmouth a ruger but this one left me a tad disappointed. i have never held a firearm with such an uncomfortable grip. i guess i expected it to be paw filling like a 1911 but i was sadly mistaken. not sure if i will wrap tape on it or what. come on ruger some of us have adult hands. on the flipside buds service was top drawer as usual. this was my 5th or 6th purchase from buds and all have been good experiences. i would recommend that anyone contemplating buying a 22/45 go to a retailer first and hold one so you won`t be sorry later.

This gun is impressive! After a few minor adjustments to the sights I was able to continuously keyhole my shots into the bulls eye. Buds was excellent with the service and super fast with their shipping. Thanks for a great experience.

I had been looking at this firearm since i sold my M9, due to the fact it was more of a collectors items and 9mm rounds are skyrocketing around here. I will tell you that ordering from buds was very easy. I had been looking for a decent .22lr semi auto for a whie and wasnt having much lick at the local shops. No on ehad them in stock, after about 6 shops i looked online and found buds. I ordered the firearm and received it in just two days, and immediately went to the range. Let me tell you this one is a shooter!!! A few minor adjust =ment to the windage and it was locked in, shooting 2" groups at 50yds and 1" groups a few clips later! I would highly reccomend buds and this Ruger pistol.

The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 from me is the grip is somewhat narrow which may not be comfortable for all shooters. Aside from that, this is an awesome very accurate and reliable shooter. With bulk ammo and a red dot scope I can consistently hit my target at 50+ yards and this gun is a tack driver at 25 yards or less.

I bought this pistol and I'm not sorry. Wow, talk about accuracy! This handgun is an awesome way to save money on target practice AND keep the feel of a 1911 in your hand. Ruger has given us options and flexibility in our sport of Marksmanship. The 22/45 Mark III is the solution to inexpensive fun at the range. This pistol shoots and shoots flawlessly, without jamming and virtually, with no recoil. It is the perfect handgun for those of us who want the best of both worlds of the 22 and 45 calibers.
