Very nice affordable Semi Auto 12 gauge, I have run the cheap stuff through it so far, Estate, Winchester universal, mainly the stuff that will foul a gas auto up if it is going to do it. Nope, shot all of them without one jam. This version has a nice bore, easy to clean system and some parts are upgradable, see OR3GUN. I bought a few upgrades, and installed them, easy. This is shaping up to be a very reliable firearm. Love it.

So far through 300 rounds, my Mossberg 930 has functioned great. I gave it a good cleaning and light lube before taking it into the field. Shot a few rounds of trap then took it out for opening day of dove season here in California. No problems shooting wallyworld's cheapest Federal #8. Cleaned it again after 200 rounds. Last weekend I put 2 different slugs through it, 35 in all...no problems. Only issue was quality control fresh out of the box. Upon picking it up from my FFL the swivel stud was missing from the magazine cap. I found it rattling around loose in the the box and the retaining ring was bent. One call to Mossberg customer service and a new swivel was mailed to me. Also, the recoil pad was screwed on crooked. Maybe banged around in shipping? No biggie, loosened the screws, realigned it and tightened it back down. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I would recommend the Mossberg 930 to anyone looking for a value priced autoloader. Very happy with Buds price and service. If you are considering purchasing this shotgun and are on the fence at all, BUY THIS GUN! I did lots of research before the purchase, sent lots of lead downrange after the purchase, and have no regrets. Maybe a sore shoulder, but a big smile, and no regrets.

This thing is a creampuff to shoot. My first 12ga, and it shoots softer than many of my 20's. Nicely finished glossy walnut stock, and good bluing. Also an absolute breeze to take down to clean, especially compared to some of my pumps (870). Fits me well and I killed 'em at the trap stand. Only (very) minor niggle is the fore end can get a little side to side play after shoot a bit. Simply turn the mag tube knob and it goes away. Note that my gun didn't have the ported barrel like Mossberg shows in their catalog, which is absolutely fine with me; completely unnecessary on this gun. As always, Buds is good to work with.

Service from you was very pleasant, thank you. Just one tiny glitch since this was my first purchase by this means: Your site said no need to contact the FFL holder prior to my transaction. So I didn't. Then the gun arrived and sat for a week. I then called the FFL holder and he told me I should have checked off on your site "to contact the FFL holder of impending delivery" (my wording) Anyway, no problem, you guys are great! thank you, Ken Peterson

I've had this shotgun for about 5 months now. I did a great deal of research and my choices came down to this one and the Weatherby SA-08 12 g. Based on Randy Wakeman's review of this gun, I went ahead and got it. I've put about 500 rounds through it so far and not a single FTF or FTE. It is incredibly soft shooting. I mean it does not kick at all it seems. It is a fairly heavy gun, so I would not want to lug this on an all day hunt, but I'm using this for clay shooting, so it is a non-issue. Best $525 I've ever spent. I haven't torn it down to do a field cleaning, but I plan on it tomorrow. Doesn't look to hard. I would recommend this gun to anyone who is looking for an affordable, well made, and soft shooting shotgun. Very pleased.

Just got this shotgun and had to make a trip out with it ASAP. Boy am I pleased with it. It shot awesome out of the box and feed reliably every load I threw at it. I was shooting a pretty light load so I do not think this gun will take much break in. Went with some of the guys and they were all very impressed with it as well. For the price it seems almost impossible to beat.

Absolutely love this shotgun! I've added a Nordic +5 mag extension so now it's a 9+1 instead of 4+1. I got a great deal at $480 from Bud's and It shipped brand new and was in perfect condition upon arrival. I've fired about 100 rounds thru it with ZERO malfunctions! The wood grain stock and forearm is very nice looking but I think the wood graining is hit or miss from what I've read online. Mine has taken on a darker deeper appearance by using furniture polish. You can't beat this autoloader for the price that's for sure! I read a review that it was the shotgun of the year in 2010 and that made up my mind to buy it and I have NO regrets to this date. Absolutely love it!

Hey nice Semi Auto. for the price. My daughter was busting doubles almost right out of the box. Shooting skeet with low brass target loads. The Mossberge 930 has not missed a beat so far about 75 light load rounds. Bud's Gun Shop is a great place to shop and purchase. The gun came to my FFL dealer in perfect condition. Thinking about the twin to it later from Bud's Gun Shop for sure. Thank You chris H.

I recieved my Mossberg 930 from Buds. It was shipped after 5 business days - just like they say - and arrived in excellent condition. Overall, I'm very pleased with this shotgun. It definitely shoots and feels like a more expensive autoloader. I put 7/8 to 1-1/8 oz loads through it and it cycled everything. I shot around 200 rounds with it the 1st time out and not one FTF or FTE. POA is right on. The only thing people should know is that the Mossberg Stock Spacer System Mossberg says comes with all 930's, doesn't come with the ones with wood stocks. I called and they said it only fits/works with synthetic stocks. So if that is important to you, you'd be better off with a synthetic stock.
