This pistol turned out to be a very good carry gun. The size is right and it has enough weight to tame down the heavier loads. I really like the short trigger reset. It makes for very fast follow-up shots. The night sights on this model are not as bright as on another Sig 9mm I have but they do work. Overall I have to say I am very happy with this purchase.

My favorite Sig ever. Fits the hand perfect. 2,000 rounds, flawless with no issues.

My second SIG and second purchase from Bud's, won't be my last of either. My SIG p225 A1 was delivered remarkably quickly, thanks Buds! As for the gun itself, looks great, feels great, and shoots great through 500 rounds. Love the G10 grips, night sights, and short rest trigger! Carries very well, with it's slim profile causing practically zero printing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet DA/SA carry pistol.

Pistol shipped/arrived in a timely fashion, good job to Bud's Guns for that. I have ordered several from them with similar good results. When I went to pick it up from my FFL I noticed the case was covered in dust but thought little of it. When I layer looked at the attached labels it was manufactured in 12/2015. I guess that's just luck of the draw but a little disappointed to be the owner of a new 2.5 year old firearm. No problems, no rust and fires without issue, just a preference for a new gun to be closer to new build date.

This is an awesome little weapon for daily carry or for a back-up gun. Lightweight for a Sig, kinda long trigger pull but does come standard with the short reset trigger (SRT). I traded with Gurney for this purchase and was very satisfied with the trade-in value I was given. Comes with Sig night sights which are great ,but the front sight post is a little wide. Shoots great with no stoppages through the first 250 rounds. Seems to like Remington UMC 9mm LE 115gr target loads.

Easy handling, accurate and totally reliable! I have ran 400+ rounds thru of varying manufacturer with zero malfunctions. I'm just an average shooter, not a writer or affiliated with anyone in the firearms sales field and I found this to be a fine handgun for me.

Another great experience with Buds! Best price and great service. The P225A1 is an excellent piece of artwork in my opinion. The G10 grips feel perfect, rough enough to maintain a good grip but never uncomfortable. The sig night sights are very easy to see and make target acquisition effortless. The SRT trigger reset is awesome! Clean and smooth in both DA and SA. Accuracy at 45’ and 30’ was acceptable for me, 8 inch groups at 45 feet and 5 inch groups at 30 feet. After 200 rounds no issues whatsoever. If there is a superior hammer fired, alloy frame, single stack, DA/SA handgun on the market I am not aware of it.

The Sig p225a1 is everything I expected it to be. I have relatively small hands and the ergonomics and grip of this single stack pistol are perfect. The gun is clearly well made and has performed flawlessly. It's medium size and weight make it a good fit for multiple functions. Bud's service, as usual, cannot be beat. What more can I ask?

Like my previous six purchases from Bud's, number seven was just as flawless. This is my third SIG. First was my Browning BDA that I bought in 1978. Second was a SIG P220 in 2003. Both guns are still as flawless today as they were when I first shot them. Match accurate. 100% reliable. My new SIG P225A1 from Bud's is no different. Ran WW 115gr FMJ, Freedom Arms 115gr FMJ, Federal Hydra-Shok 124gr and Hornady 115gr FTX with zero issues. All shot point of aim. First magazine printed a 1" hole at 5 yards. My concentration was high ... was able to shoot near the same size (1½") groups at 10 yards and 15 yards as well. Gun just points and shoots so very well. G10 grips and front strap checkering make for a really solid grip and a really easy gun to shoot. Very happy (again) with this SIG P225A1 and the great service from Buds. HIGHLY recommend.

This was my first online gun purchase. The transaction was smooth and as expected. I had the gun in less than 1 week. Very satisfied and will use Buds in the future.

The accuracy on mine has been absolutely all over the place. It shot 14" left at 25 yards out of the box and wouldn't make anything resembling a group from a bench. I've since dialed that in and groups are tightening up a bit. Mine's still no target pistol, but it's plenty accurate for carry now. I don't know what the deal was for the first few hundred rounds. Part of it was me getting used to the very narrow trigger compared to other Sigs. The best part, though, was jumping on this gun at $844 and then watching the price go up in the coming weeks.
