Got a bit of a snag on this one. Fobus makes great, utilitarian plastic holsters. This is our 5th one. The engineering on this particular model is just plain off and unlike most, cannot be screw-adjusted out of the holster without some effort. Then, again, at $17, whats a little added effort? The holster is too tight. It is molded properly to the guns contours, but the perimeter wall thickness is too thin. As a result, when the front and back are clam-shelled together, the holster is too narrow. Turns out to be a common complaint and some have needlessly discarded them. Fobus advises that you can use some silicone spray to make entry-exit easier. Love the company. Fire the guy who advises greasing up your weapon. They also advise drawing with a strong fast motion. What happens there - after forcing the revolver into it - is that you pull the gun off your belt with the holster attached. On this one, it took three hands to get the holster off the gun. You've heard this one before - two pull it open, one shoves it in and out. After forcing the gun out of the holster, the fuzzy Taurus finish was scuffed. Just one time!
Only solution is to drill out the two rivets on the back edge of the assembly - back when wearing it. That is the rivet at the front underside of the barrel and the one at the trigger guard. Like Fobus Evolution series, these fixed rivets get replaced with machine screw, washers, and nut. The screws skewer through a 3/32 inch thick o-ring sandwiched between the clamshell halves to shim them just a little further apart. At that point you can tighten or loosen the screw compression on the o-ring to adjust retention pressure and lock the adjustment in with Blue LT. Most plastic holsters build in this adjustment normally. If you have the stuff on hand, it takes less than 10 minutes start to finish.
Ordinarily, I would first relegate a problem and solution such as this to the unique characteristics of the specific product I happen to have received. However, Fobus says this is an injection molded piece which means every damned one of them is made this way and other consumer comments support the flaw. Taurus, it should be noted, is not randomly varying the thickness of its parts to give Fobus a moving target as to what spec does and does not fit. This one is on Fobus.
Still, recommend? Yeah, if you want the ease, speed, and utility of a plastic OWB paddle holster for 17 bucks, and don't mind the inevitable abrasion marks Kydex and ABS like plastics hit your gun with regardless of how it fits, we would recommend it. If you like keeping your guns finish intact, maybe look into Galcos Martix series - probably using softer vinyl-based plastics - if they offer a fit for your gun.

Great holster, comfortable, conceivable and fits my Tauras 605 perfect. Bought two more, one for my Kah r CW 9, and one for my 1911. Can't go wrong with these holsters.

These holsters are the best. I do not recommend the rotating type though, they stick out more ... too much for my liking when concealed carrying and that's mostly what I use them for. But they go on and off easy yet I've never had a problem with them pulling out of my pants while drawing. I bought one of these for a Taurus M85 and it fit too tight and is non adjustable so I put on a leather glove to hold it and forced the gun in and out about 20 times. The trigger guard of the gun shaved some plastic off the inside of the holster in the right place and after that it fit great, love it. They're comfortable, easy to put on and off (and that's important ... gun won't help you if you don't have it along), easy to draw from it and put the gun back in, they conceal the gun well, and are well made.

Not a bad holster problem is it was so tight that I could not draw without pulling the entire holster,I found a you tuber that solved that issue

The add for this holster does not mention the fact it does not fit the M85 polymer frame. In fact they don't make a paddle holster for it.

Good quality. Bought for a Mag Pug 357 Mag. The holster was a very tight fit. Almost impossible to get the gun in or out once in. But after several minutes of forcing the gun in and out, it's getting better. Actually shaved a little plastic off the inside holster. Not sure if this holster was meant for this gun, but the description said it was. Maybe will get better in time. Only didn't rate it 5 stars because of the fit.
