The Smith & Wesson Shield 45 is everything I was searching for in a CCW pistol. Its about the size of Glock 43x but in 45 acp. So far I put over 200 rounds thru it from 185 to 230 grains ball to hollow point with no problems. The only complaint I have was grip texture too pointy but a light sanding to dull the points solved the issue. The angle of the grip fits right in my hand easy to point . Very accurate to shoot at most distances. The thumb safety reminds me of a 1911 The sights are easy to see .I would give a rating a 10 if it was allowed. The only complaint that I have is that the accuracy is diminished due to the shorter barrel. But, that should be expected.

Great 45.....Shoots straight & fast &...Light...comes with 2 mags... Lots of rounds through it no jams....Good price and S&W stands behind it...!! And as all ways good to do business with Buds!!!

Love this pistol. Pretty much the only pistol I carry. Compact, light, and shoots everything I've put in it. No failures and sights were dead on out of the box. Couldn't ask for better performance or a better dealer to buy from.

I love this little gun. I’ve used it as my primary CC gun pretty much since I’ve owned it. It shoots great very accurate and easy to use. I’ve put over a 1000 rounds through it and haven’t had one problem yet. My only Complaint is I wish the barrel was half an inch longer.

It is a great CCW pistol and in .45ACP, no reason to have a higher mag capacity! The grip angle feels perfect to me, It is slim and conceals quite easily IWB.. Lightweight and very snappy with +P ammo.

I love the gun. It's small and compact. To be a .45 it's not way to heavy. Would be great for a close encounter if the situation ever arises. But even at about 50 yards it was pretty accurate with fmj.

Put a 100 rds through this gun and ran great, no malfunctions. A awesome concealed carry. It being a 45 I thought it would be more snappy but that wasn’t the case. Nice easy manageable recoil. Thanks buds!

One of the only viable .45 carry options out there for my wants and needs. It’s functioned flawlessly (as expected for an M&P in my experience) and is in my carry rotation when my mood shifts toward .45. Buds was also flawless, simple to use and continues to be my preferred place to buy. As always, the price was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than anywhere local to me and I had my pistol in 2 days. Very pleased and love to switch this with my other Shields in 9mm for carry.

This is an exceptionally fun pistol to shoot. I know that “fun” isn’t a word one would expect from a .45 out of such a light firearm, but the recoil is exceptionally manageable. Really only a hair more than my 9mm Taurus G2C. Took it out today and only put 50 rounds through it (that .45 ammo ain’t cheap!), but no problems at all. Ordered on Thursday night and delivered the following Wednesday, so not bad. Grip is narrow, but that’s the price one pays for concealability, and the more aggressive grip texture makes holding on for the ride very easy. I’m not a good enough shot to judge accuracy, but my “groupings” were no worse than usual. The take down procedure is a little less convenient than some other handguns (requiring a tool of some kind to activate a slide release lever), but it only adds seconds to the process. Overall, I have zero complaints and can’t wait to get out with it again.

Have the full size. Love it so much, had to buy it's baby brother. All fubctions were a bit stiff out of the box. 100 rds., a cleaning and lube later, much better. Pleasantly surprised at its manageability and accuracy when performing live ammo combat drills.
