I've not yet shot this handgun purchase, but have previously shot this model (S&W M&P in 45), which convinced me to buy it. Like all of my purchases from Bud's I am always confident that this product, the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield in 45 calibre will live up to Smith's reputation for quality, dependability, and reliability. The gun has a very nice profile, and the size makes it an excellent Summer carry weapon. I've also purchased five extra magazines for this gun, as I'm a firm believer in rotating magazines every thirty days. This gun's fit and finish is excellent, and fits comfortably in the hand. I'd heartily recommend this gun to anyone seeking a compact defensive handgun in the tried and tested 45 calibre. You will not be disappointed.
