Great price, great gun and fast shipping

Same reliability as all the other 870s, in a compact package. Recoil is manageable firing double 00 buck, either from this hip or held at arms length for using the front sight bead.

Very nice Remington, shoots great, I used Remington low recoil ammo, and it really made a difference.

If your plan is to buy an 870 Express to mod why not buy the cheapest model. The receiver of the 870 i received did not have the "Express" designation stamped on the left side which i am OK with. The magazine tube also did not have the dimples which makes it easy to install an after market follower or tube extension if one chooses. Cant speak on the pistol grip and forend because those were the first to go. All in all, great first shotgun.

I bought this and changed the stock out to the standard one. This is a great shotgun. I wanted this version with the 2 round extension but with a regular stock but now they have the different version with the long shell tube which I think looks bad. It took 5 minutes to replace the stock and now its by my bed at night.

Its an 870, made to work. Its a good shotgun. I do wish Remington did not switch to a plastic trigger guard.

I purchased mine from Bud's last month and missed the $60 Remington Rebate. It doesn't matter--you cannot beat Bud's regular price with a stick for this shotgun. I have not owned a Remington 870 since LE days back in the 80s. New model 870s are much improved. Field strips in 1 minute. This model is perfect for home defense, especially with reduced recoil 12 gauge shells. It seems that the orange plastic follower gets hung up on the magazine extension (on the 6th round) and needs an after market follower..standard upgrade there. This shotgun is awesome, and in my opinion, much better than its main Remington competitor, the Remington 870 Tac-14 Pump 12. Simply put, you can do much more with this model 870. With any Remington Rebate in affect, this purchase should be a no brainer for you. Buy it!

My 870 came with machining marks and it even has a tiny hole on the right of the receiver. On the tips of the barrel it looks like they didn't complete the finish well either. I haven't gone to shoot it, but I hope it shoots better than it looks. I expected a bit better quality from Remington. Buds was awesome btw. Great buying experience.

Nice! While the kick is a bit rough on the on the hand, it is fun to shoot. No missfires or fails to load. It's a keeper!

Very pleased overall with the shotgun and the purchase experience. I have now purchased several firearms at Buds Gun Shop and all have been smooth. Feels like better quality than my Mossberg and fires without issues. I do recommend it.

Love this shotgun! One thing that you should do though is toss the factory Remington pistol grip and put on a Shockwave grip! LOTS OF FUN TO SHOOT! I own several 870's and this one is just like all of the others. Always works! Bud's shipped fast and I was pleased. I only bought this though at the time because as of the date of purchase the Remington TAC-14 was still not yet "legal" in my state. Now that it is, I went ahead and got one of those too! No problems with the gun, it's an 870. IT WORKS. 'NUFF SAID!

What can I say, it's an 870? I actually bought this as a base for using up a lot of 870 goodies that had collected over the years so it now has different furniture, an assortment of barrels for its use, and a true reason for existence. Function and operation was fine out of the box, as it should be. Finish showed no flaws. Bud's service was flawless and fast, as always.

Not much to say... Typical 870.

Buds delivered the gun in a reasonable amount of time The gun is awsome and for the price have not found a better Deal on a Remington pump shotgun. I thought it was a 7 and 1 however it's a 6 and 1 no big deal took it to the range no mishaps shot like a champ
