This Beretta PX4 Storm compact is one of the best handguns I have ever owned. It is small enough to carry and large enough to count on in any situation. I used the M1911 when I was in the Army, therefore, I guess I have my preferences. This particular model has some Langdon Tactical upgrades. This is one reason why I made the purchase. Additionally, Bud's Gunshop has been great over the years. I will continue my buying and selling with them. Their professionalism and customer service are second to none.

Put a few hundred rounds through this thing, first gun I have owned and man do I love it. Never thought I would like shooting this much, this gun is a smooth shooter for sure.

Very simple process to purchase the product, product arrived within several days. The product is outstanding definitely the best pistol I’ve ever shot! Excellent trigger pull,fantastic front sight. Low recoil, excellent ability to get back on target with multiple shots. Will be replacing D Cocker with standard safety D Cocker due to difficulty of decocking.

Best price I could find and very quick delivery. The pistol itself is great. It is a 3in and change barrel so it's not a sniper weapon but compared to a 92fs compact it is a little smaller and lighter. The da trigger is duty weight at somewhere above 12 lbs so I put in an 11lb hammer spring to get a nice 8lb da pull. The pistol has been tested with 400 rounds of assorted fmjs, hps, and some nato and steel cased ammo to test the hammer spring and it functioned flawlessly, plus with the testing I became used to the pistol got my shooting with it on par with larger berettas I'm used to.

Absolutely love this gun! I've dabbled with DA/SA before and have more experience with the SP01, P07/P09 (all great guns), but right now, this is my favorite hammer-fired gun. Fits my hand, is the right size/weight, and points so naturally. The trigger is better out-of-the box than the CZ guns, but this is the Compact Carry with the upgraded trigger group. Regardless, great gun. Price is a little high, but if you added the items a la carte, it would be more $$.

I bought this back in 2017 as my first carry pistol when I turned 21. I was overseas at the time, ordered it upon turning 21 there and had it sent to an FFL that understood it would be a long while till I got home. Got home, picked it up, cleaned the protective grease or whatever they ship firearms in to prevent rusting and keep them safe and shot it. I have put hundreds of rounds through this gun over the years and carry it. I love it! and so does everyone else who has shot it. The single action I love using most as it makes the trigger squeeze smooth so its easier to be really accurate. I bought a alien gear holster for it. Definitely recommend

It handles well and shoot great. I owned this rotating barrel system with the earlier 8000 series before. It's even better!

Absolutely thrilled with my new PX4 Compact Carry! I have been a fan of Beretta for several decades. Have had a few 92s 9mm. And loved them all. As well as other Beretta pistols. This one definitely lives up to my expectations. Highly recommend it!

GREAT gun, exceeded my expectations, which were already pretty high.
This is the look and feel of a superbly engineered weapon made all the better for concealed carry with a smaller slide lock and decocker (no safety) and extended mag release. I actually swapped out the extended mag release for something smaller – the gun ships with a choice of three sizes – as a matter of preference but the process was quick and straightforward.
Gun performed flawlessly out of the box. I have already put several hundred rounds through it without a problem. Like all double single weapons this one requires practice and familiarization but I was able to hit baseball sized groups at 10 yards after 100 rounds or so.
One heads up: I Discovered that Beretta magazines do not like steel ammunition, even the Remington stuff, which occasionally tended to jam up during the loading process. Once loaded though the Beretta cycled them just fine. Brass seems to be a happier experience all around though.
The decocker also take some getting used to. I'm used to nice and slow with the SIG. The Beretta kind of makes sure the firing pin extension is out of the way then slams the hammer down. Can be a little unnerving. Again, worked perfectly though.
Finally, this gun was easily the simplest and quickest to field strip and clean my experience.
Full marks. This company may have a future in the business. :)

Typical Beretta quality and smoothness! This is my 1st PX4 Storm and I shouldn’t have waited this long. It’s one of the best ergo friendly pistols I’ve shot and it feels like it’s part of your hand while shooting. Its a lil pricey but totally makes up for it when you get a chance to shoot it. I highly recommend this one!

The PX4 Storm by Beretta is a great firearm and this variant takes it to the next level!! This gun is accurate, reliable and an excellent choice for concealed carry as it's lightweight, relatively small and easy to conceal. Highly recommend!!

This gun is well worth the money. I have fired many rounds through it and have had no issues whatsoever. I have large hands and it being a compact surprised me in that I hold and fire it with no issues. I used the sandpaper talon grips in place of the rubber grips that came with the purchase. The recoil is typical of the PX4's - very manageable, The trigger pull of the upgraded trigger in DA is better than the standard, SA I see no significant difference - great in both. The Compact Carry's trigger pull is so smooth!!! While I love the slim design, I do have trouble however with the thinner decock lever. It's very difficult for my thumb to depress but It's not a show stopper as I rarely need to decock the gun. The cerakoting is pretty good, I'd say it's an advantage over the standard because I've found that the standard coating on the PX4's scratch easily. The Sights are great - I like the orange front sight and black rear sight set-up better than the standard PX4 as it's easier for me to keep my front sight focus. While I have not fired in low light conditions, the Ameriglo sight still works perfectly allowing me to quickly train on my target. I plan to add the Ameriglo sights to my Subcompact and Full size Storms along with the trigger upgrade. Overall, this gun is a fine piece of machinery and you wont be sorry you bought it.

I love this weapon. I've wanted to pickup this version of the PX4 for about a year now. Every review I read was positive. Bud's had the best price and the online purchase was seamless. Nice experience. The only glitch, and that is really not fair as it was really the only part in the process that was somewhat less than perfect, was the closest recommended FFL was staffed by an old smart ass. He wasn't very professional, probably the owner, but don't know. I can only assume that in order to be retained and still be that much of a condescending stroke, you would likely have to be. Anyway, outside of that, great experience with Bud's. The CC EL edition is the new pride of my collection and my EDC. Great, reliable easy to use weapon. Looking forward to my next purchase.

This is one of the best firearms I have ever fired. Shoots straight, is comfortable to hold, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something just a little different from the standard DA/SA or even striker fired guns. Beretta has nearly 500 years of gun making under their belt, and make no mistake, this gun shows it. If you're considering buying one, just do it.

One of my favorite pistols. It has everything you could really want already added on to it. The trigger is absolutely amazing and on par with some of my Wilson Beretta's. It comes with a stick on grip and if you like the standard size insert which it ships with, the grip does not fit which I thought was kind of stupid. They give you the one for the oversize insert. In the package for the grip it has instruction on how to mail it back to them and they will send you the standard size one so you have the hassle of mailing this back and waiting for the new one to come. They are really kind of inexpensive and I think they probably could have just given you both sizes with the gun since they give you multiple inserts. But that is my only grip with this. It is accurate and has a very nice Cerakote finish. The only other issue is the lack of holsters yet for it. Beretta offers some very nice ones and with the gun you get a 15% discount from them. As far as lights go for the compact you have the Streamlight 3 or 4, or the Crimson Trace rail master pro are your best fit choices.

I’ve since transitioned back to hammer fired firearms for appendix carry and this is the one I use. So far has been a great gun. I tend to hit low at the range and thought the gun just liked a 6’o’clock hold, but after getting some feedback, it looks like I tend to aim (daylight) hours with the outer orange “square” of the Ameri-glo sights instead of the dot itself. That’s my fault, but I strive to shoot for sub groups. Great upgrades and features over the regular PX4. Trigger is great for DA/SA. Buds has it priced right. Recommended.

This is the beretta px4 storm compact "carry" version. The "carry" version is designed by langdon and has modifications that make this the perfect carry gun. I own a full size storm 9mm and have been searching for a compact carry gun for everyday carrying purposes. I know a lot of people like the glock, however I like the feel of the beretta better. The glock is small in my hand and I don't feel as much control as I do with the storm. the compact has the same size grip as the full size and has a double stack mag. Both the full and the compact have a rotating barrel the significantly reduces recoil. Beretta also has a px4 storm sub-compact. That barrel is a tilting barrel and does not come back to target as smoothly as the compact. The new trigger is smooth and easy to squeeze and the night sights allow you to acquire targets with optimal speed. My new favorite is the compact carry.

The new Beretta Storm Compact Carry with decocker mode only and the smaller controls is a great carry weapon. Love it, looks good, built well, and performs even better! Love it!
