I’ve wanted this firearm since I was a kid I’m happy I finally got it. Everything went smoothly with buds. Arrived after around 5 days went and picked it up and it looks exactly like the pictures.

I love my nickel plated Rock island. Ive wanted this pistol for as long as i can remember. The layaway and all transactions were very smooth and with no problem. Upon the last payment the firearm was boxed and shipped with the tracking numbers provided that very same day!! Took 3 days to get to my FFL dealer. When i went to pick it up it was packaged very nicely. Its came covered in oil as i hoped, since it protects the metal and finish from leaving the warehouse and being stored until purchased. Once dissembled and thoroughly wiped with a cleaning cloth the gun was beautiful!! Nice shinny mirror polish even better than you see in the picture. I rate 4 stars for buds gun shop. Will definitely buy from here again, and recommend other to buy from here also. THANK YOU BUDS GUN SHOP!!!!

well this is what I have been looking for. the fimish on this gun is perfect. I bought some mother of pearl handles for it and it took on a new look. thank you guys for getting the gun I have been wanting off my wish list. Now all I need is the 38 supper from rock island

I just purchased this from buds.Fast shipping.forget all the reviews from those who run to the range without proper cleaning before the range. this RIA was flawless,all finish and fit were #1.thumb safety worked fine, slide fit great , barrel fit no slop.buy it .

This is was my sixth 1911. The first was a GI colt in 1959. The only problem was the fire pin retainer plate, which was a bit under spec. I installed a GI part and now all is O.K. It now has 300 rds. and all is well. It is as accurate as any milspec 45, and trigger is good. The chrome is well done.

First impression very surprised, the finish is awesome, the gun seems to be made with quality, except the magazine , it looks very cheap , but i already got after market ....

I have not shot this beautiful ria 1911 yet but I will comeback and let you know. What I can say and show off is the way it looks . It looks very nice and I love the hard chrome finish on it. The stock brown wooden grips that come with it look very cheap and ugly, I immediately replaced those with a pair of mother of pearl grips. The finish is very nice but scratches very easily. The trigger and the hammer look scratched and pieces of the finish are coming off.those are the only two parts of the gun that are finished poorly. The thumb safety is so hard to engage and disengage it hurts my thumb when I flick it. I have to use both of my hands to engage it since its very hard, I hope with time it will loosen up. It came with an 8rd black magazine that looks and feels cheap but I dont care since I have several magazines that I bought and fit very good. So far it looks very nice. ill let you know how it shoots when I get tom
