love this pistol. i shot 50 rounds through it the day i got it with no issues at all. it is solid and heavier than another 9mm i own, but feels good with minimal recoil. the sights are simple but effective, the magazine that was included is easy to load, and it inserts and ejects easily without any effort. for the $$, this is a great 1911 that is solid and well made.

Love this weapon, carry this weapon on me. Sights are great feed of the the weapon is great. Then it's my favorite 1911!!!

Rock Island rocks! Until I got my hands on an SA-35 this was my favorite 9mm. The weight of this 1911 makes shooting it very pleasant even with some stout 9mm loads and it is incredibly accurate! The fiber optic front sight is a god send for aging eyes. The flat finish isn't my favorite but for the money you just can't beat these 1911 pistols from RIA. G10 grip panels, fiber optic front sight, what's not to love? And as a reloader I appreciate the fact that it throws the brass in a neat pile at my feet. If you are a fan of the 1911 and you've been wanting to experience one in 9mm I would suggest buying this pistol. Just be prepared to buy lots of ammo because your pile will go down quick once you get this baby in your hands!

I love this RÍA 1911. After shooting my son’s 1911 I just had to get my own. Shoots amazing with no recoil. Totally recommend this gun!!!!

Buds was great as always!! I put about 400 rounds down range with this gun with NO problems at all.

Ordered on a Sunday, shipped that Wednesday, in my hands 2 days later. Nice! Finally got a chance to run a couple brands of ammo thru this RIA 9mm FS. Only 75 rounds, but not a single hiccup. No failure to do anything aside from shoot. Everything on the pistol looks and feels just fine - especially for the price point. After cleaning all the storage oil from outside and in, the slide felt smooth w/o a hint of sloppiness - anywhere. Trigger felt pretty good out of the box, maybe 5 lbs. After those 75 rounds, it felt even better. So far, couldn't be happier.

This is an awesome firearm, very reliable never any failures or other issues. One of my favorite guns I own, goes to the range every time I do!

Accurate and well built. This is my third Rock Island 1911. I find them to be as capable as any other 1911 style pistol I have owned/fired (including Colt and Kimber).

This is a great, sturdy pistol. In 9mm, it is easy to handle. The trigger is light and crisp, and allows the shooter to be as accurate as the gun. I have put about 1000 rounds through it. It has functioned well, with a few misfeeds. From time to time I don't hit the magazine in quite right, so thats on me I guess. The rear sight adjusted well, and the fiber optic is plenty bright and easy to see. The 1911 design is easy to break down and clean, and everything about this pistol feels like quality to me. I think this gun is fun to shoot, reliable and will last a couple of generations.

This gun is ROCK solid. Very well built and cycles great. Accurate and plenty of heft with very little recoil. Parkerized finish could be better but I didn’t buy it to put in a gun show. It shoots and functions great!

This is a great 1911, I have put 400 rounds through it now with no malfunctions. I own other 1911s that cost twice what this one did and they shoot no better. It was soaked in shipping oil so the fiber optic was discolored and the overall fit/finish is not perfect but acceptable. If your looking for a accurate 1911 at a very reasonable price this is the one! Buds was easy to work with, I will use them again!

Super smooth action and trigger. Excellent quality. Great fit and finish. No failures of any kind. Shoots FMJ and hollow points of different brands accurately and without fail. I did change grips to a less aggressive pattern for these older hands. Also changed sights to Meprolight tritium sights since this will be a personal protection gun. A Great 1911 for the price. You will not be disappointed buying this pistol. And the recoil is really light.

I think the fit and finish of firearm is very good. Shoots very well. Very pleased with the quality and value.

An excellent purchase! I am completely satisfied with this gun. I haven't had any failures so far and it is very accurate right out of the box. No sight adjustments needed. You can't go wrong for the money!

I have had this gun for a few years now and shoot it pretty much every week. It is an AWESOME gun for the money. It is actually my favorite gun to shoot.

The Rock Island Ultra FS 9mm is a great gun for the price. The trigger is on par with pistols costing twice as much. The fit and finish are really good. The slide runs nice and tight and the barrell locks nicely on the lugs. I took it to the range and ran a couple hundred rounds through it without a single hic up. Accuracy was good as I can hold anymore. The only thing that I have to change is the front sight height because it shoots the 115 grain bullets a couple inches low at 25 yards, so I ordered a new one from Dawson precision and I will be all set.

The initial quality was great out of the box! Felt sturdy and had the quality I was looking for in a 9mm 1911. However I had failure to extract issues at least once with each full magazine I ran. After contacting Armscore about it the asked me a bunch of questions as if it was my fault a new pistol malfunctioned. They were very slow to get back to me until I wrote them a very forward email demanding help with this problem. They eventually sent me a return label but told me turn around time was 4-6 weeks! Im just going to buy a wilson combat extracter and put it in myself. Love the look feel and overall performance just not happy with the customer service from Armscore.

I've shot approximately 100 rounds through this RIA 1911 Ultra FS 9mm. Fed flawlessly and shot accurately with no adjustments needed. Nothing too flashy but well appointed and seems very well made for non-custom. No looseness, seems solidly fitted. The only improvement I could find is a brighter front optic, but this could have been dulled by the shipping oil. Easy and inexpensive to replace the fiber optic element. For the money I would highly recommend the RIA 51623.

I love my RIA Rock Ultra FS 9mm. It is very accurate, has all the bells and whiistle's I wanted. I did find the G10 grips very rough for my old hands. I changed the grips to another G10 type Great gun for the money..

Recieved the 1911 without any problems. Slide to frame is tight, no rattling for the thumb safety, safety is positive and tactile, no movement in barrel to bushing. I was pleasantly surprised that it has a ramped barrel. I haven't tried hollow points yet but I assume the ramped barrel will have flawless feeding. I have shot 150rds and had one failure on the last round in the magazine. It does come stating 400 rounds break in is required because of how tight the 1911 is made. There is almost no recoil and follow up shots are quick. No sight adjustments were needed out of the box. 150 round punched a 3inch hole in the center of my target. I was happy with my purchase and wish i would have bought this a long time ago. Backed with a lifetime warranty, if you are thinking of purchasing this model, do it.

Amazing quality for the price! Bud's delivered again, as expected, without delay, and in perfect condition! The slide to frame fit is spectacular! Cycles and racks like butter smooth! I made a slight correction on elevation on the rear sight since it was shooting a tad high and I put a Tru Glo fiber rod in it to make it pop a little more for my "older" eyes =). Grips are amazing and overall a beautiful pew! The ONLY thing I will say is the description of the weapon capacity is incorrect on the website, (I had sent Cust Svc an email before stating such, but has not been corrected), This model is a 10 rounder, not 9. I purchased this one specifically by model number and had cross-referenced it to RIA's website to make sure.

This is my fist 1911 and after reading a ton of reviews it did not disappoint. Great quality and very nice trigger. I would recommend this to anyone looking for their first 1911. To me it has some historical bail because it’s was made in a factory where WWII 1911’s were made. I fthink that adds a cool factor. Bud’s price was below msrp and shipped quck. Got it in hand in less than a week. Will use buds again.
