Well unfortunately this experience with Colt may be my last. First the pistol is way to loose at the bushing(it can be turned with finger) and the slide. I know that with 1911 you either want reliability or accuracy. It is just that with a high end Colt one would expect the slide to frame fit to be tighter. Also the magazines are horrible and no one would know that until they have used the Wilson Combat, Ed Brrown or some of the other quality magazines. I own several Colts and I have put all the mags in a box and put them aside. I do not want to use something that is hard to load. Finish is OK and I have not fired this weapon but I'm sure it will provide fairly good accuracy at 25 yds. but will I buy another one-doubtful. I also have Les Baer, and wilson Combat 1911 and they are great. Hopefully I will never have an occasion to get one in the mud to the point of reliability failure. I simply think that Colt could do better but I'm sure I will keep the pistol for some time. I almost forgot, the barrel is the best one on any of the other 7 Colts I own. As for Buds, Great as usual.

Awesome Colt. Smooth action just as advertised. Got a great deal from Bud's and layaway plan was very convenient.

Best buy of any 1911. High quality, meticulously finished with tight slide to frame fit, and more accurate than any Kimber or Springfield I have. Price is very reasonable. You will not find a better buy anywhere than this.

Deathly accurate, flawless functioning, well worth the price and I am glad I bought it. I own a number of 1911s including a springfield factory comp and this colt shoots every bit as good if not better.
