Have not gotten a chance to try yet, but am very excited to finally get some. I know there is good reason they always sell out so fast on every site I look. I think I'm more excited to see nephew's face when he tries one, I plan on slipping one in as surprise.

I bought these for hunting hogs, unfortunately, the hogs haven't cooperated. They are called 3", however, they are closer to 2 3/4 so I can load 1 more shell than other 3" shells I have used.

I have hunted deer using these slugs with great success. Very accurate. One round and it's down.

Holy cr@p!!! These things look like they will do some damage!!! Whether your trying to breech a door, or put somebody on the floor... this will definitely handle the task. Super great price to!!! I only bought 50... should’ve gotten at least 100!!! I’ll be buying more!!!

Bought these in case I ever need to defend my home and family against a Tyrannosaurus. I feel like these also may have the capability of disabling The Death Star, but that's just a speculation. Will update review in time accordingly.

Wicked recoil which was not unexpected, but wow, it will definitely get the job done on most anything in North America. Recommend a little extra padding on your shoulder or stock, maybe both.

Very powerful slugs, definitely a good option in best country to accompany my Glock 20.

Great product for camp security in bear country. Effectively turn a SxS shotgun into a double rifle. These are awesome, hard hitting and accurate.

Shot a bear with this thing. That bear blew up and flew back. I went in to examine the damage up close. Turns out it was just a squirrel. Still effective.
All joking aside this slug is serious stuff. It has some kick to it and you can feel the power in this ammo. Accurate and reliable ammo.

Haven't taken any game with these but they are super powerful. Definitely pack a punch and very accurate.

Have fired about ten rounds of this in Benelli M4. Very impressive on rocks. Penetration in Douglas Fir 12" dried log less so, about 6". I use it for bear protection aka "last chance". Recoil is very substantial (brutal?) but manageable for its intended use. Better recoil management with newly installed Limbsaver pad. Would like to have seen deeper penetration, perhaps 10". .308 or .30-06 would have penetrated the log. The likelihood of an actual "application" probably near zilch, zip, none but...

Function and feeds fine in a 590a1. Pretty good punch too. Bud's makes the buying experience easy and fast as usual.

Great product, does its job and then some. I use these out of a Weatherby PA-08 Deluxe 12 gauge, rifled barrel and scope, they make a great combination. I’ve seen reviews about excessive recoil, but in a heavier shotgun it’s reall not too bad, my grouping at 88 yards was consistently under one inch, best was a 3 shot figure 8. They hit like a freight train, took a nine point at approximately 40 yards, nice through and through shot, and continued through and through on an eight inch diameter tree. IF, you are serious about the quality of ammunition used, rather than the quantity that you can get, you really can’t go wrong with these. Go to the Brenneke web site, you can see my review with pictures there. Don’t be afraid to step outside the usual and pass up great performance. These were a replacement for the now-discontinued Buckhammer slugs for me, and I am very pleased at the quality. I wish the rating wasn’t just “good” because they are amazing.

SUPRISINGLY ACCURATE: Tested from a VEPR-12 and (old) FABARM ARMS Semi.. w/Polychoke. ** BOTH shotguns grouped it amazingly-accurate (2-3" groups) @ 35yds... not so much @ 50. OPENCHOKE got best results; IC "sprayed". {go figure} - HEAVIEST SLUG AVAILABLE FOR 12ga, in N. AMERICA!! What can ya say! - MORE accurate then the DDUPLEKS DUP28 or HEX32. was surprised... {disappointed?} Hunting heavy game? BLACK MAGIC MAGNUM the ONE, the ONLY!! YES - HIGHLY RECOMMEND as FIRST CHOICE for heavier game!!!! Wear a shoulder-cushion, tho, and dig that Stock deep in your shoulder - HOLD Tight! You've been WARNED! heh. : ))

These are some mean looking slugs plus they HIT HARD. #ILoveEm

These are by far the most wicked shell that I have fired. The power is devastating and all I can say is at 50 yards or less what ever is on the receiving end of these is going to know what dead feels like.

If you've decided to use a shotgun when traveling through brown bear country and your shots are under 50 yards, these slugs are a great choice to go with. Don't go without bear spray either.

Very good ammo, I have been stocking up for years for large game hunting and self defense. Works great in my Saiga 12 ga. and very accurate
