I don't know why you would buy anything else if you want a Ruger 22. Works just like my first 22 but splits in half and goes into a bag!

This firearm is absolutely awesome. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about it. If you want a great takedown .22 that is easy to carry and quick to assemble for an unbelievable price, look no further.

Great rifle. Fun to take apart and put together. Fun to shoot. Delivery was fast once my E-check cleared. I thought the rifle came with the backpack-type carry bag, but it is more of a attache-case like bag. No big deal.

The Ruger 10/22 has been a good shooter for decades. I like the take-down feature and threaded barrel for my Mask HD. It comes with a very nice case that holds everything including extra 25 round magazines.

As usual Buds service and shipping was easy and quick. The 10/22 takedown I received did have a couple of flaws though. The forward portion of the stock didn't quite align with the rear when assembled. Not a big deal as I ended up mounting the rifle in a Magpul X22 backpacker and all is well. Also, the front site was off center and shooting 6" left at 25 yards. Had to drift the rear sight a significant amount to get rounds in the 10 ring but it's still solidly in its dovetail. I did also mount the Magpul backpacker rail though so the sights will soon be a backup to a red dot. Went to the range and fired several different types of standard, high and hyper velocity ammo. All fed and fired flawlessly with CCI mini mags giving the best group, 5 rounds through the same ragged hole. Also used a variety of Ruger and after market mags and the only issue was with the 32 round Pro-mag. Very sloppy fit in this particular rifle and just refused to feed properly. All in all though, very pleased with my purchase. It should make a great pack rifle for hiking, canoeing, etc.

I received my Ruger 10/22 approximately 1 week ago. I put 100 rounds of supersonic and subsonic 22LR down the barrel. The rifle functioned w/o any problems or flaws. Tended to shoot a little high but am adjusting the rear sight. It is a truly enjoyable shooter. I am planning on adapting a red dot sight and picanny rail for improved accuracy at longer ranges.

I purchased my Ruger 21181 10/22 Takedown Semi-Automatic 22 LR on a Monday and it arrived at my FFL dealer on Thursday. Buds kept me updated each time the package from one location to another. The firearm was shipped in the factory Ruger box inside a plain brown box so to not draw attention to its actual contents. When I opened the factory box I noticed that this model came with the coyote brown take down bag. Inside the bag I noticed ample sized hook and loop closable sleeves that the two sections of the rifle slide into, to keep the separate sections from sliding around in the bag. There was also a separate sleeve on the barrel side to contain a second fore grip with barrel attachment if you have one. The two outside zip closure compartments on the bag one upper and one lower contained the 10 round rotary magazine and the detachable shoulder straps, weaver style attachment rail and paperwork for the enclosed firearm. The color of the stock is listed as a bronze mica, while the one I received looked to be the same color as the bag which is a coyote brown/tan. The barrel has a more black than blued finish, and is threaded at the end with 1/2 x 28 threads, with an included thread protector sleeve. Upon first assembly I noticed that the rotary magazine port shipped with a port protection cover. After removal of the cover the 10 round rotary magazine was able to be inserted and removed with flawless operation each time. When I fired the weapon for the first time using 40 grain Aquilla rounds, there were no failure to feed or failure to fire problems. It has a nice patterning of 3/4 inch groupings at 100 yards right out of the box. I would recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a high quality, dependable 22LR in a takedown format. Thanks to Buds Gun Shop for the first class customer service along each step of the transaction, and to TS Arms in Pelham, AL for their high quality of service as a Buds Preferred FFL dealer.

This is my fourth 10/22. I bought my very first 10/22 when I was only 11 years old. I saved all my money for the whole summer and ended up getting one at Kmart. I also got a scope, rings, extra mag and 1000 rounds of ammo all for about $220. Fast forward 25 years and I am buying yet another 10/22 this time one that will break down when needed. I cannot say enough good things about how great this gun is. I am going to give it 5 stars. So far my only complaint is the trigger. I would guess it is around 7 lbs. It breaks very clean but has a long reset.
